Kingdom Mystery

Focus: Mark 4:11-12 - KJV

11. And he said unto them, Unto you it is given to know the mystery of the kingdom of God: but unto them that are without, all these things are done in parables: 12. That seeing they may see, and not perceive; and hearing they may hear, and not understand; lest at any time they should be converted, and their sins should be forgiven them.

1 Corinthians 2:6-14

The Kingdom of God is a holy phenomenon not available to polluted minds and therefore, shrouded in mystery such that the polluted will not find and enter to pollute it. For God knows every of His creatures from the foundation of the world, and even if the Kingdom is preached to a son of perdition, using fire, he will still end in perdition. But, for the loving kindness of God and the fact that He is a fair Judge, He still made allowance, just per adventure, one already conscripted to perdition may find mercy and discover the Spirit through whom the mystery of the Kingdom is revealed. The allowance is through Jesus Himself. Even if a man’s matter has been concluded, if the same finds and submits to Christ the mystery wrapped in parables will be unraveled.

Esau was to be the inheritor of the blessings of Abraham from Isaac. Unfortunately, his Creator already knew he was not cultured for it and therefore, his younger brother was preferred. Judas Iscariot was so close to Christ but did not find the solution to the mystery of the Kingdom as he ended up in perdition. Nonetheless, the man Peter, who ordinarily would have ended in perdition having been sought by the enemy to sift like wheat, found grace in Christ Jesus, when He prayed for him. He would have ended a shipwreck but the one who prayed for him returned to strengthen him and to encourage him to await the Holy Spirit who was to unravel unto him and many others, the mystery of the Kingdom.

Many today, assume they understand the Kingdom, whereas the same remains to them a mystery. Most of the words of Christ to them remain in parables and even though they do hear, yet do they not understand. Their understanding appears to have been suspended because the enemy has them to sift like wheat already. But God is saying mercy is yet available for as many as will seek Christ today. He will, through the Holy Spirit unravel to them the mystery of the Kingdom and take them into appreciating the deep things of God. All He is asking of us is our surrender. If we do surrender to Christ and allow Him to carry us, assuredly we shall see much more better, and clearly.

Please pray:

My father and my God, I say thank you for not speaking to me in unraveled parables, but making clear to me the mystery of the Kingdom. Everything in your word that still appears parabular to me, please make plain by your Spirit, in Jesus’ name. Give me clearer understanding of the things of the Kingdom, from day to day, in Jesus’ name. Let your Spirit continually be my guide that I may not miss out on the matters of the Kingdom, in Jesus’ name.

Please share with others. God bless you.
