Knowing New Things

Focus: Jeremiah 33:3 - KJV

3. Call unto me, and I will answer thee, and shew thee great and mighty things, which thou knowest not.

Jeremiah 33:1-3

Our God is awesome and He is all knowing. There are many things available to Him in knowledge which man has no inkling of. Meanwhile, a chunk of this knowledge is necessary for man to appreciate and enter into the will of God for man. Hence, many are times when men go astray and it becomes painful to God that man operates in such misery. A little wonder He declared that “my people are destroyed for lack of knowledge.” Yet, the Lord is not stingy about disseminating knowledge to them that desire it. Hence, He says those who lack wisdom should ask for knowing that there can be no wisdom without sound knowledge. If therefore, we will call unto God and diligently seek Him for knowledge, He is available to make things known to us that we can least imagine.

Moses wrote the book of Genesis, a man who was not born until many years after the events recorded therein. He got the knowledge of the little contained in the book from the inspiration of God and perhaps the genealogical stories and mentions in the Jewish tradition. Remember, God choose Abraham because he was bound to teach his offspring about the person and word of God. But then, even Abraham was not in the beginning. Yet, Moses had something, even if little, to write about the beginning. Solomon got a blank check from God and he knew quite well what he required to excel in life. He sought wisdom. Of course, since there was no getting wisdom without knowledge, he got both and even understanding. With all of these, he amassed so much wealth and commanded respect even from other kings.

The Lord is inviting us to seek knowledge with which we will properly pivot into doing His will. Once we get it right from Him, many would marvel at what we carry, which of course has or would have no comparison. It is time to put all things aside and seek the Lord diligently, while He is yet near, so that He may show us things which we never had any idea of its existence. Those who got the idea on putting algorithms together that is used for google mapping and so on are not too special. They only got a knowledge or idea dropped in them by the Lord. You also can get your own idea today. Call upon the Lord.

The Lord will reveal to you matters that have never come to the minds of any other person and make you a pioneer of great things in the name of Jesus. Your ideas that the Lord had given you in the past would not come to waste in Jesus’ name. Greater things are starting with you from now even as you call upon the Lord and receive the knowledge that will last humanity for eternity, in Jesus’ name.
