Focus: James 1:17 - KJV
17. Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning.
James 3:13-18
There are many people today, in whose hearts are grave envying and strife; lying to people thereby, about the truth. Of course, they know the truth, but the state of their hearts would not allow them to align with the truth. They possess earthly, sensual and satanic wisdom. Many assume they are wise, because they appear to be winning in certain spheres of life, where people are oblivious to the truth, and are therefore perishing under the yoke of lies and darkness. Such gift of wisdom is never of God, and it is out to destroy its possessor in the end. The wisdom endowed by God is perfect: it is first pure, peaceable, gentle, full of mercy and good fruits, impartial and without hypocrisy, true and easily intreated. It bears the fruit of righteousness, and not destruction.
Ananias and Sapphira were wise: theirs was satanic wisdom even though they dwelled among the people of God. That points straight to the fact that not every wisdom exhibited in the Church is perfect and from God. Hence, we need to first test all spirits and hold on to that which is true. The couple’s wisdom led them into being hypocritical and therefore, unrighteous. On the other hand, the wisdom from above made David to realize that he was not worthy to take the water from the well of Jacob, which was drawn at the risk of the lives of valiant men; and therefore, poured the same out to the Lord. Some others would say, but as the king and representative of God he should thereby be entitled. Well, David refused to place his shoulder beside that of God, and would rather humble himself before the one who enthroned him.
The wisdom from above is perfect. It has neither envy nor strife in it. It is strife and envying that make man twisted in his dealings. Don’t let your emotion push you to use your endowment against your neighbor whom you are commanded to love. Whenever such happens, the perfect gift in you has become corrupted and no longer pure. If in the end you put the same to use, it fails to bring fruits of righteousness, but hypocrisy. We are to please bear fruits of righteousness with our endowments, else we make it satanic. And, since we are not ordinarily of Satan, when such happens, we create a confusion of identity. Bear in mind however, that God is never confused: He knows them that are His. Let us therefore, bear the fruits of righteousness that we may remain the Lord’s. Please do not use God’s endowment in you to aid evil.
SOLUTION: The opinions you give that end up destroying the innocent is satanic. Don’t do it. Remember Ahithophel. Don’t be like him. Ensure always that the use of your wisdom is godly for the endowment you have is from God and therefore pure, ordinarily.
Please pray thus: Lord God eternal Father, I thank you for the perfect gift of wisdom that you have endowed me with; whatever may pollute the purity of this gift in me, please expunge from my being in Jesus’ name. Do not allow me to use your wisdom in me to profit the ministry of the enemy ever, in Jesus’ name.
