Prayers Of The Saints

ree

Focus: Revelation 8:4 - KJV

4. And the smoke of the incense, which came with the prayers of the saints, ascended up before God out of the angel's hand.

Daniel 10:7-14

The Lord’s ears are not heavy that He cannot hear, neither are His hands short that He cannot rescue. But it is the sins of man that separates between him and his God. When a man’s ways be pleasing unto his God, the Lord is very near him to listen to and answer his petitions. It is obvious that when the righteous make petitions unto God, effectual and fervent doors are opened unto him thereby, but many are the adversaries. The effect of the presence of the adversaries may cause some form of delay in the performance of the petitioned matter. However, when the adversaries arise against the saints’ prayers, the Lord is quick to raise a standard against the adversaries by His Spirit. He appoints His angels, who are ministering spirits unto the saints, to pave the way for His own to experience the performance.

Daniel was a just man and an example of the saints of God. Heaven reckoned with his saintly personality and men also, including the Babylonians that held him captive. He became agitated about the fate of his people and put forward petitions unto God so as to gain clarity from the one who rules in eternity, about what the future held for them. Because of his piety, he was so close to heaven that the moment he prayed, answers were released and dispatched to him through an angel. That angel got obstructed by the prince of the kingdom of Persia who caused a halt on the delivery. But God sent Michael to rescue the angel and his message so that Daniel, who did not halt in his fasting and praying may have reprieve. Apostle Paul maintained that doors were opened unto him in ministry but many were the adversaries. Nonetheless, he finished well and strong.

The Lord is giving assurance to everyone that would lead a righteous life that the one who is greater than the greatest is listening to their petitions and waiting to have them pray and ask for things. Our God is a faithful and loving father ready to meet us at the point of our needs. However, those who do not live in righteousness infuriate heaven when they pray, except for repentance, since the prayer of the sinner is an abomination unto God. Hence, the Lord desires that we be holy and therefore godly so that our prayers may no longer be hindered. Being on the side of God guarantees unfettered answer to our prayers, no matter what the devil does. Let us therefore, be intentionally righteous.

Please pray:

Father, I thank you for being a kind and prayer answering God. I approach you this fateful day with my heart desires, please give heed to my requests, in Jesus’ name. Whatever it is that will cause a clogg in the way of my petition from ascending to you, please help to remove by the blood of Jesus; and everything that may be preventing or obstructing your messenger bearing the response to my petitions or anyone of them, do please rebuke like you did for Daniel, in Jesus’ name. Let there be an outpouring of the answers on me from this very day, in Jesus’ name.

Please share with others. God bless you.
