Revival Time

Focus: Isaiah 57:15 - KJV

15. For thus saith the high and lofty One that inhabiteth eternity, whose name is Holy; I dwell in the high and holy place, with him also that is of a contrite and humble spirit, to revive the spirit of the humble, and to revive the heart of the contrite ones.

Psalms 138:6-8

Prior to His vacating the earth, the Lord Jesus Christ expressed concern as to whether faith would remain on earth by the time He returns for the Church. True to His concerns, worship apathy, lack of trust in the body of Christ and myriad other vices have battled what is called faith, to a very low level in the lives of people all over the world. Indeed, if by chance a person introduces himself as a pastor and another an atheist, and they both seek a contract from an institution, the atheist is preferred as there is a presumption that anyone who describes himself by his faith is out to defraud. How did we get to this level? However, the husband of the Church will not allow the gates of hell to prevail against His Church. He is therefore ready to revive His Church through deliberate spiritual actions, that will dumbfound the world.

At times like this, the Lord knows how to revive His people: recall the contest on Mt. Camel between Elijah and the prophets of Baal? God is about to replicate the same. There is also the time of the judges when Gideon was drying corn at the wine press just to prevent the enemy from taking over his harvest. Israel at the time, was overwhelmed and no one believed in anyone again, as being of the Lord. That time has come again, and the Lord is here to revive His church and put the enemy to shame. Only that, this time, the revival will bring down so much fire that will linger for long. Those to be revived are those who, though are weighed down by the happenings of our day, they yet possess contrite and humble spirit. They are those who are humble enough to yield to the Lord as He beckons on them. Through them, the Lord will light up many others. It is here now.

Beloved, let nothing take you away from the revival that is being heralded at this time. God is real and true; and without faith, we have no portion in Him. This is why the enemy is waging heavy war against our faith. If we let him win, we lose it all. For him not to win, we need to earnestly yield to the Lord and team up with the Elijahs and Gideons of our time, to wrest the Church from the pit the enemy is pushing it. Let us be determined to rise to be counted in that which the Lord has purposed for this time. You know what, it may be the final intervention for the Church before the Lord’s showing. Those who miss it may just as well be like those the flood took away at the time of Noah. The ark is built and ready. It is the basis for revival. Unless we enter into it, we will have no one to blame if the door be shut.

SOLUTION: It is no time for scampering for riches or the pleasures of the world; rather it is the time for conscious effort towards redeeming the Church from the onslaught of the enemy. Let us stand to be counted. No more filth in the body; no more open castigation of the filthy. If any be found in filth, let the same be told to stand down until he is restituted. By and large, let the Church arise as the light and salt of the world. Let us together push darkness away and heal the decay in the world.

Please pray: Dear Lord arise to ransom your Church from decay; do not let your word fall to the ground on the assertion that the gates of hell will not prevail against us. Do revive us all and we shall be revived in Jesus’ name. Create in us contrite spirit and humility, to be able to do your will in the coming revival in Jesus’ name. Do revive us indeed and use us for the gaining of more to yourself in Jesus’ name.

If you are blessed by this post, kindly share with your contacts as well as others, that they may be blessed also. Thank you and may God bless you abundantly as you do so, in Jesus’ name.
