Focus: Jude 1:1 (KJV)"Jude, the servant of Jesus Christ, and brother of James, to them that are sanctified by God the Father, and preserved in Jesus Christ, and called:"
John 17:11-15
The Meaning of Sanctification
Sanctification is more than just a religious term; it is a profound cleansing and separation by God for His own use. While God desires for every believer to be set apart, not everyone reaches this state. Sanctification is reserved for those who, after being born again, commit to a life of true holiness. When we separate ourselves from worldly affairs, we become "clean vessels" that the Lord can uniquely use to fulfill His divine purposes.
Empowered by Grace
Those who are sanctified receive a special endowment of grace to accomplish extraordinary tasks. We see this in the lives of the early Apostles:
Paul: Sanctified and preserved, he was so graced that even a serpent's bite couldn't harm him, and simple cloths from his body carried healing power.
Peter: As a set-apart leader, his very shadow brought healing to the sick, and his presence raised the dead.
Neither of these men, once they took up their calling, returned to being identified with the patterns of the world. They were preserved in Christ because they remained separate for His use.
A Call to Availability
God is issuing a fresh invitation for you to come worthily and be separated unto Him. We must move beyond being "empty believers" who wait for others to act. Instead, we are called to be active, sanctified vessels, ready for the Master's use. When we choose to live outside of worldly distractions, we position ourselves to receive an abundance of grace and to become wonders through signs and miracles.
A Prophetic Blessing
Receive the grace today to live in good works and above worldly affairs in Jesus' name. May the Lord find you worthy of His use, sanctifying and preserving you for a special calling starting now, in Jesus’ name. I decree that the Spirit that raised Christ from the dead takes over your life, quickening your body and turning you into a special wonder through great signs and miracles from this day forward, in Jesus’ name. Amen.
