Speak Your Truth

Focus Scripture:

"We having the same spirit of faith, according as it is written, I believed, and therefore have I spoken; we also believe, and therefore speak;" — 2 Corinthians 4:13 (KJV)

In a world increasingly filled with deception, the call for the believer to be a mouthpiece for the Truth has never been more urgent. We are commissioned to share the Gospel from our own backyards to the ends of the earth. However, the essence of this mission isn't just that we speak, but how we speak.

It can be tempting to "embellish" our testimonies or stretch the truth to make the Gospel seem more attractive or to gain popularity. But God is a God of truth; in Him, there is no lie. When we use deceit to try and win souls, we actually push the Holy Spirit out of our ministry. You don't need to add "fluff" to the Word of God—the Truth is powerful enough on its own.

Our identity as believers is rooted in the truth that brought us to salvation. Today, the Lord is calling for a reawakening. He is asking us to stand firm against the "father of lies" by speaking only what we truly believe. Let your witness be credible, simple, and honest. When you stick to the truth, you allow God’s Spirit to work through you without confusion.

Prayer:Heavenly Father, thank You for the gift of my salvation. Give me the courage and the grace to speak about my faith boldly and honestly before others. Protect my heart from the temptation to deceive or embellish, and let my words always reflect Your light. Keep me on the path of truth throughout my journey to Your kingdom. In Jesus’ name, Amen

Please share. God bless you.
