Stay On The Righteous Side

Focus: 1 Peter 3:12 KJV: For the eyes of the Lord are over the righteous, and his ears are open unto their prayers: but the face of the Lord is against them that do evil.
God actively watches over and listens to those who love Him ("the righteous"). He hears their cries and swiftly moves to answer their prayers. Conversely, His presence and judgment stand in direct opposition ("his face is against") to those who deliberately practice wickedness.
450 false prophets of Baal screamed, danced, and cut themselves all day, pleading for their idol to answer with fire. Because they were practicing evil, God completely shut them out. There was absolute silence. When the prophet Elijah stepped up, he prayed a simple, 63-word prayer of pure faith. Because God's ears were open to His righteous servant, the Lord answered instantly, raining down supernatural fire from heaven that consumed the sacrifice Elijah prepared on the altar.
We do not really need to scream to get God's attention; we just need to walk uprightly. When you live in alignment with God, you have His undivided attention. His eyes protect you, His ears catch your whispers; even before you ask, He hears, and He will personally confront the evil forces that try to oppose you.
Prayer:
Father, I thank you for you always hear and attend to my prayers. Please answer now my petitions for today that I and everyone I have prayed for may experience your hand in their lives. Do not countenance the request of evildoers asking that evil may befall me or any of your children. Instead, please keep us prospering in their full glare to the glory of your name, in Jesus’ name. Amen.
Please share. God bless you.
