Memorize: Hebrews 12:28
Wherefore we receiving a kingdom which cannot be moved, let us have grace, whereby we may serve God acceptably with reverence and godly fear:
Read: Hebrews 12:22-28
The kingdom of the world is dominated by the devil. It is a kingdom fraught with incontinences away from the original intent of the Creator. It is full of manipulations and crass wickedness. How else can one describe a kingdom where it is auspicious to hewn down fellow humans in the name of religion, ethnic cleansing and so on? Or is it child trafficking, rape, sodomy, murder etc.? Or still, the oppression by one country of the other in exploitation of resources without recompense and forcing underdevelopment so in perpetuation of injustice? That is the character of the kingdom of this world.
But there is a better Kingdom where God rules and reigns. It is a Kingdom characterized by righteousness, peace and joy in the Holy Ghost. In there, you will find the innumerable company of angels paying obeisance to God even as they minister unto the heirs of salvation, the citizens thereof.
The citizens of this great Kingdom are regiments who understand how to relate with themselves and their King. They are a company of just men made perfect, who have been made pure by the blood of Jesus. Though they sojourn in the world, they are not of the world. So, while in the world, they take cognizance of the Word of their King and do not depart from it to do what it says, day and night knowing that they cannot escape retribution if they so refuse to heed.
The citizens do know that there is an heavenly Jerusalem where there will be a gathering in the end, which gathering shall exclude all charlatans but embrace the wise and obedient ones. To be part of this Kingdom, you can also repent today and commit to obeying the Word of the King to observe its dictates going forward without deviating therefrom either to the right or to the left. The King is waiting to welcome you with a great embrace and your life will take a turn for better.
Pray:
Father, I desire to reign with you. Please help me to attain perfection and remain so in you till I meet you in glory in Jesus name.
