The Blessings’ Magnet

Focus: Deuteronomy 28:2 - KJV

2. And all these blessings shall come on thee, and overtake thee, if thou shalt hearken unto the voice of the LORD thy God.

Zechariah 1:2-6

There is a mystery about godliness which many cannot decipher. When a person be truly godly, all good things get attracted to him of their own accord without having to struggle for them. Godliness is about hearkening to God to do His will. Those who do that are, though physically earthly beings, located in the presence of God where His light shines in perpetuity. By that, all the issues of light which are described as blessings are attracted of their own pull to the person concerned, away from the burdens of darkness that can never stand the presence of the light. In essence, godliness is the magnet that draws the godly into the light of blessings.

For as long as Israel remained godly, blessings were attracted to them: freed from ten plagues in Egypt which were the waves of darkness; supernaturally crossed the Red Sea on dry ground; made to eat the meal of angels without having to prepare it; got flesh added to their meals and got water from the rock in the scorchy desert. The moment they moved out of the light and operated in darkness, their blessings slowed down and they lost about forty years wandering in the wilderness. When they returned to the path of the light, they crossed the Jordan and brought Jericho to its belly in a supernatural way. No sooner was sin found in their camp again, and they lost to their enemy at Ai.

The Lord is reintroducing us to the source of blessings today, saying, please hearken diligently to the voice of the Lord your God as presented to you by Christ and reminded you by the Holy Spirit so that you may dwell perpetually in the light and the issues of darkness be driven far from you. A refusal to obey God is an invitation to problems and the thought of God towards us are of good and not of evil. Every time evil is attracted it is our making and not God’s doing. The sooner we yield to God to do His word, the better for us as we are magnetically drawn thereby into the light and the blessings thereof.

Please pray:

Father, I thank you for your word which brings light to my path, always. That which I know, please help me to obey and stick with in the name of Jesus. Let my being be drawn into your blessed light to dwell perpetually, in Jesus’ name. Let the blessings flowing from your light be manifest in my life on this part of the divide, in Jesus’ name. Do help every member of my family to embrace obedience of your word that we may all swim in your blessed light forever, in Jesus’ name.
