The Kingdom Is For The Saints

ree

Focus: Daniel 7:18 - KJV

18. But the saints of the most High shall take the kingdom, and possess the kingdom for ever, even for ever and ever.

Matthew 25:31-34

The year is gradually running to a close, just like the present world. As the closure of the world draws close, the first thing that will happen when the Lord comes is to gather the nations and then, separate them into two clear groups: the one He calls the sheep who He will set at His right, and the other He calls the goats that He will set on the left. The sheep is also referred to as the saints. These are those who have Christ as their Lord and lived their life as His believers, lovers and obedient servers. They have nothing of the world in themselves but exist in holiness and purity, standing in the promises of God all through. The goats of course are the worldly whose lifestyle did not end in the fear of God but against His person and instructions. This latter group forfeits the Kingdom.

The day the Lord does the separation between the sheep and the goats will be interesting. The rich man had his money and just refused to share it with Lazarus and he missed it. There is no record that he did anything at all to hurt Lazarus as a person. Ahab was adjudged to be a bad king, even though the bulk of the things that caused the judgment were orchestrated by his wife. Yet, he missed it. Demas was a follower of Christ through Paul, but he was found to prefer the world to following Christ, and he missed it. A thief was condemned to death and was hung on a tree for his crime, yet, before he died, he found mercy and made it. Cornelius and his household had no moral issues but would have missed it if God did not send Peter to his home to introduce salvation to them.

The Lord wants us to realize that He does not see like men see. His standards are sure and many will be shocked to find that common lies or unforgiveness will bar them from making the Kingdom. A saint is a saint and the Kingdom is meant for saints only. If non-saints are allowed therein, then pollution of another type would have been allowed in and there may be need to salvage the earth and the people there in the new Kingdom anew. The Lord is determined to recruit into the Kingdom strictly those who are tested and trusted that are not likely to compromise. Can He count on you to put you in the number?

Please receive these prayers unto yourself:

Thank you, father for making us to come to the end of another month. As we go through this last day in this month, let every user of this devotional be blessed even before the beginning of the new month, in Jesus’ name. As you bless us today, help us to remain in purity to the very end in Jesus’ name. Let the new month meet us pure and let nothing soil our purity in it, in Jesus’ name. By the reason of our purity in you, let the new month be the best month we have experienced so far, in Jesus’ name. Birth unto each one of us a fresh grace for greatness in the name of Jesus Christ.

Please share with others. God bless you.
