29. And if ye be Christ's, then are ye Abraham's seed, and heirs according to the promise.
Romans 9:6-9
God is Love. The moment Adam fell from glory, He pronounced His salvation plan through the seed of the woman. Eventually, Abraham became the recipient of the promised seed. Now, sin came into the world through the act of a man; in the same manner, righteousness through salvation, was presented unto all men by the sacrifice of one man, who came in the order of Isaac as the seed of Abraham. Hence, everyone that accepts Christ is translated like Him, into being the seed of Abraham and therefore the bearer of the blessings of Abraham. Through Christ, there is no separation between the Jews and the Gentiles: once we belong to Christ, we are Abraham’s seed through Him.
There was a woman in need of healing for her daughter in the days of Christ. Incidentally, she was less entitled to the blessings of Abraham, being a Samaritan. And Jesus told her so when she approached Him for help. But the woman knew better than to stop pressing. Something had told her that it was possible to be partaker of the blessings of Abraham through Christ even if one be a gentile. And that same day, she became Abraham’s seed. Another Samaritan woman was at the well of Jacob. She was about to lose the offer to become Abraham’s seed when she would rather rebuff Christ than attend properly to Him. But when the Author of life told her the story of her life, she realized herself and became one of His unto becoming Abraham’s seed.
The Lord wants us to know that it does not matter into what race, creed or color we were born: for as long as we are hinged to Jesus Christ, who is the seed of the woman in the order of Isaac as promised, then are we also Abraham’s seed and inheritors of the promise. All that we need is unflinching faith in Christ. With that, we will have all the blessings of Abraham right on our laps to operate in. And in the end, we shall also be in Abraham’s bosom, just like Lazarus, if we stay in the faith to the very end.
Please pray:
Father, I thank you for the grace to be part of your promise of salvation. As I am Abraham’s seed, I lay hold on all the blessings attached thereto from this day, in Jesus’ name. All that I have suffered under the power of darkness ends today by the reason of the promise and blessings, in Jesus’ name. Let no power of hell turn me over ever into darkness and failure again in Jesus’ name. Please let me end up in Abraham’s bosom in the end in Jesus’ name.
Please share with others. God bless you.
