Focus: 2 Chronicles 16:9 - KJV
9. For the eyes of the LORD run to and fro throughout the whole earth, to shew himself strong in the behalf of them whose heart is perfect toward him. Herein thou hast done foolishly: therefore from henceforth thou shalt have wars.
Jeremiah 16:16-18
The Lord is all-knowing. There is absolutely nothing we do that is hidden from Him. Incidentally, He does not only see our physical activities, even our mental actions are glaring to Him, for He looks at the heart. Hence, when we take thoughts and actions and assume He is not aware, we deceive ourselves. When He finds hearts that are devoid of iniquity, but pure towards God, He shows Himself strong on their behalf to wage war against their adversaries so that the pure in heart is kept safe for His purpose. On the other hand, all those who refuse to keep a perfect heart towards God by keeping their ways pure do foolishly in that they by themselves create a separation between themselves and the one that loves them the most, who also is stronger than the enemy. Hence, once He leaves, the enemy finds opportunity to mesmerize them that are said to have so acted foolishly. There is truly no hiding place for the wicked: whether they be in the seas, on the mountain or in the holes of the rocks, without God, they have no hiding.
For as long as the prodigal son remained in the bosom of the father, all that pertained to him, like his elder brother, was smooth sailing. But when pride entered into him to create a heart that would rather ditch the father for the vagaries of the world, he ended in penury, pain and a pitiable state. He suffered greatly for his foolishness but his humbling himself got him restoration. There were however, many others who so departed from the Lord, their maker, but never found humility enough to make them return. They lacked and lost the opportunity for restoration. King Saul was one of them and Gehazi another. The mind of God is not that any should perish but come to repentance. When we do, no matter the opposition that confronts us, the Lord who sees us and all we go through takes care of us against the opposition. When Zerubbabel kept a pure heart towards God, the Lord declared concerning him that no matter how great the mountain is before him, it shall be made a plain.
Beloved, everyone that refuse to submit their hearts fully unto God, by themselves declare war against themselves. If God be in place, no amount of opposition from the pit of hell is able to undo us. It is glaring that the wars we go through are often self-inflicted. All that the Lord seeks is a turnaround for better, in humility. Once we can turn around, the fellowship with God is restored and all the adverse situations are halted instantly, just like the returned prodigal was received with a great embrace and all his trouble came to an end. Please do not bring wars upon yourself by working against the purpose of God. He sees whether or not we do His will. He is the one who judges our hearts and confirms when we are in sync with His purpose. Bring the current wars to an end today and please never allow another to arise.
SOLUTION: Do not war against your creator by doing things He does not approve. All such wars open doors for wars from the enemy and there is no hiding when the Lord is not in place. Keep your hearts pure and let only good issues of life proceed from it from today.
Please pray: Father, I cannot afford to be separated from you. Do not allow me to stray from you, in Jesus’ name. By reason of your presence in my life, let every war be terminated now, regarding my life and destiny, in Jesus’ name.
