Focus: Psalms 126:3 - KJV
3. The LORD hath done great things for us; whereof we are glad.
Psalms 126:1-6
Certain circumstances are so overwhelming that at times move one to weep and be downcast. It is never the end of the world. Even if weeping endures for a night, joy comes in the morning. For everyone that trusts God, there is hope for them that no situation lasts forever for, it shall come to pass. No matter how dark the night is, the morning comes with its light to disperse the darkness of the night. A time was when David had gone with his host, the philistine king with a view to supporting him in war, but was turned back. Before he returned to his base, calamity had struck. It was at the time the darkest moment in the life of a man who ordinarily was a fugitive. Those who stood by him resolved to stone him assuming he was the cause of their night season. But God came through for David that he recovered all that the enemy took from his team and even more. So, upon the restoration, they were like them that dreamt. For this, it is important to be glad at all times and like the scripture enjoins, let us rejoice always for the night season is never permanent. Joy comes.
Beloved, don’t allow that situation to pull you down. Arrest the down tide where it is now and rejoice in the Lord. It is in your weakness that the strength of the Lord is most effective. But you must exhilarate joy despite the situation for the joy of the Lord is your strength. Therefore, rise up from the place you have your head bowed. Cheer up for the Lord is ready to restore to you all that the enemy had stolen from you. Your celebration is about to start as the morning of joy is here.
SOLUTION: Never give the enemy room to see you in a downcast state as it gives him the sense of victory. Rather, arise and be glad in the Lord. Keep praising Him until your victory is complete.
This very day, we declare your morning of joy has come and an end has come to the night of weeping in your life in Jesus’ name. The kind of joy that can never cease, the Lord will give you going forward and you will never go down again in Jesus’ name. The blessing that makes one forget the times of sorrow receive now in the name of Jesus Christ.
