Be Patient With The Lord

Focus: Psalms 40:1-2 - KJV

1. I waited patiently for the LORD; and he inclined unto me, and heard my cry. 2. He brought me up also out of an horrible pit, out of the miry clay, and set my feet upon a rock, and established my goings.

Psalms 37:1-11

Hardship is not palatable no matter how we try to trivialize it. So, a person going through some sort of hardship is tended towards anxiety even though he be a believer in Christ. Hence, when the believer prays and he appears to see nothing, he becomes anxious and starts to assume God did not hear him or was not willing to respond. The Bible records that Lazarus was Christ’s friend and a prayer was made to Jesus to come and heal him while he was super sick. Jesus had other matters to attend to and therefore, did not set out immediately. Then, Lazarus fell asleep (died). Of course, his sisters and other friends could not bear it and assumed if Christ had come on time, Lazarus would not have died. But Christ proved to them that God is never late for He acts not only to alleviate our pressures, but also to glorify Himself.

The Lord is looking to us to leave anxiety out of our matters even as we wait on Him to react to our demands. No matter how long the night may appear in the lives of believers, the tide is bound to turn for the sun to rise; even though weeping endures for the night, joy comes in the morning. You know what: it is darkest at dawn. If only we would wait a little longer, our sun will surely rise and the Sun of righteousness shall arise for us with healing in His wings because that which appears to be pressing us now will only end up bringing the most juicy things of life out, for our relishing. Therefore, please be anxious for nothing, but in prayers and supplication, continue to lay bare your anxieties before the Lord. He will soon come through with the best solution.

SOLUTION: Let not your hearts be troubled. Christ is true to His promises. If you are His and you have called upon Him in the days of your trouble, please wait for Him: He is on His way with the solution.

Please pray:

·      Thank God for giving to you the hope of a better life in Christ Jesus

·      Ask God to please come quickly by shortening the time so that the burden may quickly be lifted from your shoulders

·      Tell Him how so much you await His showing forth concerning those situations you have been calling on Him for

·      Ask for the best of solutions that will suit you and glorify the name of the Lord in your life today

·      Cast all your cares upon the Lord by telling Him you have nowhere else to turn to.

If you are blessed by this post, kindly share with your contacts, as well as others, that they may be blessed also. Thank you and may God bless you abundantly as you do so, in Jesus’ name.
