Focus: Romans 8:37 - KJV
37. Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us.
1 Corinthians 15:55-58
The aim of the devil is that in the judgment of the last days, man, that is every one of us, should be condemned to death like himself for the end of the devil is the bottomless pit, a place prepared for him and his angels, otherwise called demons. His way of achieving this aim is through sin. If he succeeds to keep man in sin, then he wins, as the wages of sin is death. Meanwhile, Christ was manifested to take our sins away. By doing so, we have victory over sin, death and invariably the devil. The one who came to take away our sins did so because of His love for us. By His love and sacrifice, we have life instead of death and thereby we become conquerors.
Nevertheless, we cannot continue in sin and ask grace to abound. God forbids it. For, if the thing that was conquered for us through the death of Christ now begins to conquer us, to what effect is the love of Christ over us? However, if after being made conquerors, we are sustained in righteousness by the help of the Holy Spirit as we live our lives in accordance with the dictates and tenets of Christ, who is the second Adam that lived above sin, then do we become more than conquerors. Conquerors through His sacrifice in death, and more than conquerors through His righteousness by which we now live. The mind of God is that we remain more than conquerors through Christ. That we can only achieve by showing our appreciation to Him that loves us.
SOLUTION: Show Christ love by obeying His commands as you abstain from sin and everything sinful. Sin or iniquity as some will prefer to say, can only bring a conqueror to the state of being conquered. Sustenance in righteousness makes us more than conquerors. It is impossible except by the help of Christ.

· Thank God for giving us Christ who made us conquerors and more than conquerors over the devil and all his craftiness.
· Pray that the Lord will sustain you and your entire household in righteousness that as you overcome sin, it will never turn around to overcome you
· Ask God to strengthen you in your inner man to be able to withstand the wiles of the devil whenever they come towards you
· Pray that the Lord will help you to make your righteousness surpass that of the Pharisees in all ramifications
· Ask God to manifest His promises for your life with glaring evidence from today
