Come To Holiness

Focus: 1 Thessalonians 4:7 - KJV

7. For God hath not called us unto uncleanness, but unto holiness.

1 Peter 1:13-16

Happy New Month to you, beloved of God. May this month bring to you super blessings in Jesus’ name. As the year is running to a close, we are to put to heart the truth of the calling of God upon our lives as believers. We are called to holiness and not uncleanness. Hence, if anything is filthy, the believer is not to touch it.

What is that thing that you do that must not be known to others? They are said to be things done in darkness and therefore of the devil. They are unclean. The secrets you keep to prevent yourself from being made vulnerable in the hands of the wicked do not form a part of these, especially when it has no repercussion or ungodly effect when revealed.

Please live your life in holiness and let the whole world identify you with God. As God your father is holy, please be holy also. Christ leads us in the way of holiness. Let us emulate Him alone, that we may also end well.

Please pray:

Thank you, father for making me in your image and likeness; and for inviting me anew to that same likeness which is holiness. From this day, please help me never to go into uncleanness which of course, has the potential of separating me from you. Let me forever be hinged to you, that I may live a good life through and through in Jesus’ name.
