Focus: Hebrews 10:37 - KJV
37. For yet a little while, and he that shall come will come, and will not tarry.
Habakkuk 2:2-3
In the movie industry, anytime a “good” movie is about to be released, the producers put up an advert to declare that the same is ‘Coming Soon’. Every movie lover that is interested in watching the movie due to its trailer, set their minds to the release so that they do not miss it. The greatest event of all generations is about to happen. It is the return of the Lord Jesus Christ to receive to Himself all those who are expectant and are getting ready for the D-Day, just like the movie lovers await their good movies. Incidentally, the promise to return to take us to where He is, that we may be together with Him, was given over two thousand years ago. To those who do not have understanding of the things of God, the promise has lingered for long and may no longer happen. Those who do know God, on the other hand, will appreciate that a thousand years before God is like a watch in the night. So, even though it appears to have tarried, it will no longer tarry, it will surely happen soon.
The end was about to happen to Elijah’s ministry and therefore he took his journey in the direction of the port of his transition. Many sons of the prophet, like Elisha, knew he was about to be transitioned but they did not know when and how. Unlike Elisha, this event that was labeled ‘Coming Soon’ was not so important or attractive to the sons of the prophet who were also supposed to be movie lovers. Elisha on his part, would not allow the event to happen behind him; hence he followed with rapt attention. In the end, Elisha did not miss the premiere event and therefore was the only one who took the full benefit of the event. He returned with a double portion of the prophet’s spirit to the extent that his contemporaries who missed the event came bowing to him.
The rapture of the Church is imminent and therefore the Lord has asked that we advertise that it is Coming Real Soon. Those who, like Elisha follow with rapt attention shall inherit a kingdom that eyes have not seen nor ears heard of the extent of beauty that awaits those for whom it is prepared. Those who fail to prepare and are not truly expectant enough to follow the Master, shall, like the other sons of the prophet have their regrets in the end because they will be left behind and not be partakers of the great provision the Lord has made. Therefore, do not let anything cause you to be too busy to follow the Master at this time. The premier is about to happen and when it does, many of those who would miss it will live to tell the story of how others were raptured to leave them behind.
Please ensure you follow Christ to the very end. The promise is no longer to be delayed.
SOLUTION: Do not be caught napping when the trump shall sound. It is only those who are ready that will take the benefit. No whoremonger, thief, liar or murderer or any sort will be raptured by the Lord. Only those who are in the fold of the good shepherd will be. Are you? You must be holy, living in obedience to the teaching of Christ to be.
Please pray:
· Give thanks to God for the hope He has given you to spend eternity in His bosom
· Ask God to please keep you to the end that you may never miss the rapture, when the trumpet shall sound
· Ask God to please by His Spirit, take away every distraction that is targeted at making you miss the Master
· Pray that when the Lord shall distribute treasures to His saints, yours will not be missing therein
· Ask God for your daily bread for today.
