15. As the LORD commanded Moses his servant, so did Moses command Joshua, and so did Joshua; he left nothing undone of all that the LORD commanded Moses.
John 17:1-5
God loves them that obey Him to the letter. Moses was commanded to take the Israelites from Egypt to the land He had promised Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, and to share it unto them. Unfortunately, Moses erred along the line and therefore could not be allowed into the promised land. As the purpose of God must be fulfilled, Joshua was appointed in his stead to complete that which he was called to do that was left undone. Even in the course of the assignment, Joshua himself grew in age without completing the task. He had to be called to order by the Lord for him to come to completion. Until the mission is accomplished, the Lord would pick an alternative to do His task. Ask Tera: he stopped in Haran when he was meant to go to Canaan, and Abraham was chosen in his stead. Elijah got depressed and resigned from God’s assignment without having reached the mark. He was asked to anoint three others in his stead with Elisha to occupy the place of the prophet.
The Lord has given to each one of us a purpose in life. Until that purpose is fully accomplished, we are unfulfilled. Today, the Lord has come to call us back to focus so that we may not be replaced. There is no standing in limbo until purpose is fulfilled. The one who does not want us to fulfil destiny will bring all manner of reasons why we should not continue in the purpose set for us. He would come with lies, fear and distractions. The greatest distraction today is the electronic gadgets. When we are not on social media, we are in a gossip of sort or we are afraid of things that do not exist and therefore lose focus regarding the heavenly assignment. This must stop and for it to stop, we need to change our focus and become determined to accomplish that which we are assigned to do.
SOLUTION: What is it that you are purposed to achieve in life for the Kingdom? Focus on it to achieve it fully. Let nothing shift you from the purpose set before you. Above all, for as long as there is breath in your mouth, never resign from the Lord’s assignment.
Please pray:
· Give thanks to God for still being able to breath and show gratitude that you are still able to make amends towards fulfilling purpose
· Ask God for mercy and forgiveness for all acts of prodigy you had done in the past and promise never to return to such vomit again
· Tell God to equip you for the task He has committed unto you that you may with focus, accomplish it
· Ask God to put a bar between you and the enemy that he may no longer be able to distract you from that which you are supposed to do for God
· Let the Lord into that which you are struggling with so that He can help your infirmities
If you are blessed by this post, kindly share with your contacts, as well as others, that they may be blessed also. Thank you and may God bless you abundantly as you do so, in Jesus’ name.
