Focus: Genesis 17:2 - KJV
2. And I will make my covenant between me and thee, and will multiply thee exceedingly.
Genesis 15:5-6
Since God operates in eternity untimed, He sees beyond times and seasons and readily tells what He would do in what humans call ages and declare the same in the present day. Whatever He declares therefore, He already has certainty of the occurrence and that no power is able to scuttle it. He is the Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending of all things. He made a covenant with Noah to preserve the earth and not allow water to overrun it again. For as much as there are tsunamis, hurricanes and stuff on earth, it has not submerged the earth no matter the strength. The same God brought Abram from an obscure place and entered into a covenant with him that, if he would obey the voice of God, then he would have a piece of land he had never been to, as well as multiply so much offspring wise, so that they would be like stars of the sky, or the sand of the seashore.
Today, many people claim to be hinged to the blessings of Abraham. Wait a moment: the covenant was made to Abraham and the fruits of his body and not people who are not directly connected. Recall that even Abraham wanted God to fulfill His part through Ishmael but God insisted it would happen through Sarah’s seed. If we look at the spread of the children of Sarah and their spread today, we will discover they are really uncountable, like the Lord had covenanted. Even the Jews alone, with their spread all over the world, are more than anyone can readily count. Invariably therefore, when we fulfill our part of a covenant with God, He is faithful to do His part, without fail. The Lord is still in the habit of entering into covenants of multiplication, even now. He can decide He would multiply your resources, intellect or spread numerically. Nonetheless, He does not act in vain. When He made the covenant with Abraham, His mind was that from the intended offspring, mankind would be ransomed. Look out also for the purpose of His entering into a covenant with you. His purpose would not fail.
If the Lord had spoken to you about multiplying you in any way, there is good news for you today because the covenant has just started finding real fulfilment. It may have been delayed thus far, perhaps because you have not been very faithful to actualizing your own part of the covenant. Even though it appears unrealistic a promise, since the just shall live by faith, yours is to believe and act on what He has directed. It will surely come to pass. There is now a new covenant that requires us to abide in Christ and then shall we be pruned that we may enter into multiplication, fruit-wise. The time of pruning is definitely not so soothing; but when it heals, surely the multiplication begins. So, like Abraham, we can also multiply, by the covenant we have with God.
SOLUTION: Whatsoever the Lord has asked you to do, please do. He never acts in vain. What He says He will do; He will surely do. If He asked you to empty the room of belongings, it may be that He wants to refill it with new state of the art ones. If you fail to empty it, there cannot be a refilling. Now, He only asks that we abide. Do what He says and stop the calculation.
Please pray: Father, from this day, please give me the grace to do whatsoever you want me to do correctly, in Jesus’ name. I hold on to your promise for my life, please bring it to fruition from now, in the mighty name of Jesus Christ.
