Created For God’s Glory

Focus: Isaiah 43:7 - KJV

7. Even every one that is called by my name: for I have created him for my glory, I have formed him; yea, I have made him.

Isaiah 43:1-7

The Lord has a great plan for everyone that is called by His name and guards them jealously as the apple of His eye. There is no one that genuinely bears the name of the Lord who is not first created, predestinated, called and drawn by the Lord Himself. They are so drawn into operating the glory of God amongst men. Operating the glory of God connotes shining in the midst of darkness such that while others are experiencing the gruesome hardship in darkness, those called in the name of the Lord are unaffected and appear to be utilizing an economy from a different sphere.

Jacob was bearing the name of the Lord, as Israel. When he got to Laban’s house to serve, Laban himself testified to the blessedness of Jacob as being the basis of his increase. When the two were to part ways, they agreed on a sharing formular for the stock of animals in Jacob’s charge. When the time to share came, the healthier and better fed animals became Jacob’s to the chagrin of Laban’s family. That family could not understand how Jacob was able to achieve the fete. It is simply that when the believer passes through the fire, he does so with the Lord and when he goes through the waters, the Lord is with him.

God wants us to know today, that for as long as we are believers bearing the name of the Lord, He will never leave nor forsake us, no matter what. Hence, there is good news for a user of this devotional today: no matter how tough that situation may appear, it does not matter how hopeless the situation seems that brings anxiety, the Lord is right in it with you and has promised to bring you through it in clear cut victory. It is a good time to stand still and see the salvation of the Lord. Even before the next sun will rise, your celebration over the matter shall be heralded.

Please pray:

Thank you, father for the assurance of your presence with me always as a believer. Let your presence drive darkness and its effect far from me from now on; and do not let me shake in my belief or stop bearing your name in anyway or manner, in Jesus’ name. Let every power militating against my shining your glory, for which you created me, be blown far away into oblivion, in Jesus’ name. From today, dear Lord, let all elements cooperate with me to enable me shine your glory on earth, in Jesus’ name.

Please share with others. God bless you.
