25 For he must reign, till he hath put all enemies under his feet. 26 The last enemy that shall be destroyed is death.

Read: 1Corinthians 15:20-26

One major thing that human beings and most other creatures fear is death. Since man fell from glory, the biggest threat to his existence has been death. The fear of death consumes man and his well-being every bit of his life. Everyone wants to go to heaven but no one is willing to die. Death was something brought upon mankind through the sin of Adam. Once Christ died for the same sin without Him being a sinner, the power of death and the grave was extinguished but death remains an issue to the physical body, until all flesh understands the victory brought about through the sacrifice of Christ on the cross.

Since mankind has refused to take the full benefit of the sacrifice of Christ, death remains in operation and existence, but its time shall be up when the Lord comes to separate unto Himself the wheat from the chaff. At that time, there will be no more need for any to die since the debt of death has been paid in full. So then, death shall be destroyed that man may continue to exist without death as purposed by the Creator at the outset. How is this important to us? Everyone that is found in Christ Jesus at His coming shall be accorded a new lease of life in Christ forever, never to die again. That is why scripture confirms that Christ has come to give us life and life more abundantly. On the other hand, those who are found outside are considered dogs. They will be railroaded with the hounds of hell to suffer pain eternally in hell. That is where scripture says there will be weeping, wailing and gnashing of teeth.

Incidentally, since death would have been destroyed, no one on either side of the divide shall die anymore. But there will be an eternal separation: the one in eternal bliss and the other in eternal damnation. Oh no! Sounds so much like a theory? Well, assume it is true, if anyone is found outside, the same has everything to lose because of disobedience to God. Whereas, if he has lived in righteousness and it comes out true, he will be the better for it. Stop procrastinating on deciding for Christ. Tomorrow may be too late. I look forward to seeing you in the bosom of Christ in the end. God bless you.

Pray:

Father, whatever it takes for me to make it into life eternal, please do for my sake in the mighty name of Jesus Christ.
