Focus: Mark 7:37 - KJV
37. And were beyond measure astonished, saying, He hath done all things well: he maketh both the deaf to hear, and the dumb to speak.
Mark 16:15-18
There is something about the kingdom of God that is quite amazing. When anyone accesses the Kingdom, he bears signs of same as he is able to do extraordinary things without stress. Accessing the Kingdom is simply, believing in Christ’s finished works and following His way. Prior to believing and being baptized, they remain ordinary individuals like anyone else. But from the moment they take on Christ as their Lord and Savior and get baptized to His death and resurrection, the same power that raised Christ from the dead comes upon them and they start to heal, deliver and even take poison unhurt.
Nicodemus was a ruler of the Jews. He found that Christ is a wonder and wanted to know how he could also be one. Jesus’ answer was for him to be born again, that is, be baptized with the Holy Ghost and water, else he cannot see or enter the Kingdom of God. Christ Himself was able to do these wonders because He is of the Kingdom. The barrier preventing men from accessing the Kingdom was removed at His death and resurrection. Hence, anyone that comes into that death and resurrection is a believer and therefore, granted access into the Kingdom, by which, like Christ, he can heal the blind, deaf, dumb, cripple or even raise the dead.
The power of old is still available to them that access the Kingdom. Ability to access the Kingdom is a mind thing not just about invitation to come forward after speaking a multitude of words. Until the mind of the hearer is renewed by understanding what Christ stands for, all He did and the essence of living life henceforth through Him, there is no believing or accessing the Kingdom. That is responsible for why many are called Christians but are unable to do things well, for they are unbelieving. God is saying there is the need to go back and seek the truth for it is the truth that sets free and gives Kingdom access.
Please pray:
Father, I thank you for showing me the truth of your Kingdom and granting me access thereto. By the access I have, please let the signs of the believer begin to manifest more than ever, in my life, so that I may also be doing all things well, just like Christ our example, in Jesus’ name. Let the world begin to experience the manifestation of the sons of God through the signs of the believers, in our time, in Jesus’ name. Let the dead begin to rise and the sick be healed at the sound of my voice from today, in Jesus’ name.
Please share with others. God bless you.
