Text: Psalms 40:11
11. Withhold not thou thy tender mercies from me, O Lord: let thy lovingkindness and thy truth continually preserve me.

Message:
God is Love. He is a compassionate God. From the days of Adam until now, it is because of His compassion and longsuffering that mankind still exists despite their wickedness and waywardness from age to age. If God was to bear His wrath on sinners, none will be able to stand. It is for His mercies that we have not been consumed. Are you one living in the guilt of your misdeeds? Good news: God does not want you to perish; He has preserved you thus far by His mercies. He calls you unto repentance. Please repent never to return to the evil ways again. No, you don’t have to be overburdened with the grief and sorrow of your past deeds. Allow His mercies to prevail. Turn a new leaf and live. God is inviting you into His embrace. Please don’t hurt Him anymore. Seek Him henceforth in holiness. It is true that His mercies are new every morning and His faithfulness great. But do remember that you cannot mock Him. Don’t take His mercies as liberty for misbehavior. The truth is that life is a matter of choice. Anytime you despise God, you are surrendering to the enemy who lacks mercy. Incidentally, the enemy is forever luring you and wanting you to fall. Once you make your choice for the enemy, you have asked God to get out of your situation and He is not likely to force Himself on you. The consequences of deciding for the enemy are grievous. Make up your mind today to stay on the side of the Lord and enjoy His mercies ever more.
Prayer:
Father, I hold on to your loving kindness and your tender mercies; hold me tight that I may never fall off from your grip in the name of Jesus.
