Focus: Hebrews 11:6 - KJV
6. But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.
Jeremiah 29:12-14
It is the last day in the tenth month of the year. Like some people have propounded, ten represents double grace. Therefore, it is expected that we would have double grace released on us in October. As it is the last day, we need to reflect why grace has not been doubled in anyway on so many people even members of the Christian fold. Perhaps, the answer lies in our focus scripture today. Those who have grace released upon them ought to operate in faith for the grace to be multiplied, as we are saved by grace through faith. Understanding the subject of faith opens the floodgates of heaven; operating in faith gives us entry into heaven. It is there that we access abundance of grace. In essence, if we lack faith, we remain stultified in a vulnerable position, even though grace to excel glares us in the face.
Jesus Christ, while on earth, knew whom He was and had so much confidence in the father that whatever He wanted, the father granted except that which was against His will. Many disciples were with Him, twelve of which He made Apostles. Having been with Christ for some time, the expectation was that the unction on Christ would have rubbed off on the disciples, particularly the Apostles. Unfortunately, it was not so, for when the master was not around, a lunatic was brought to them and they could not cast the demons out of him. Christ’s simple response was that they lacked faith. Howbeit that we are so close to Christ and yet fail to perform the signs of the believer? God is never a liar. It is only those who have faith that can please Him, no matter the posture we present to the world. God will only yield to faith, not stature or sagacity.
Beloved, as we end this month today, the Lord is saying to us that it is not as if the promises of heaven are vain, but that to access these promises, and relish them, we must be pleasing unto God. Pleasing is embedded in our faith in the one that promised. A lack of faith is a vote of no confidence in the Lord. It does not matter what we say with our lips. It is what we do have in our hearts, which is clear unto the Lord, that the Lord yields to. God really loves us and wants us to have the full benefit of heaven. It is important we get the full benefit of our God as we put faith in Him, concerning His promises. Even now, may the grace of God make His faith be found so rooted in us, that we may partake of the heavenly blessings even for the rest of the year, and ever more, in Jesus’ name.
SOLUTION: Please believe God for who He is, and for what He has said. Not having faith is forfeiting the benefits in the promise.
Please pray: Father, help me to trust you in all things that I may gain the benefit of being yours, O Lord, in Jesus’ name. Let me never lose out on your promises for my life, in Jesus’ name.
If you are blessed by this post, kindly share with your contacts, as well as others, that they may be blessed also. Thank you and may God bless you abundantly as you do so, in Jesus’ name.
