Focus: 1 Corinthians 1:9 – KJV
9. God is faithful, by whom ye were called unto the fellowship of his Son Jesus Christ our Lord.
1 John 1:1-4
When God created man He made him in His own image. This presupposes that God saw His beauty in man anytime He looked at man, like in a mirror. Unfortunately, that beauty of God that was in man became destroyed by sin to the effect that when God looked at man, all He saw was deformity and ugliness and the Bible says God’s eyes will not behold iniquity. The ugliness in man is the effect of iniquity. Like a woman who is not sure of herself in beauty, animal sacrifice became a make-up for man to appear seemingly beautiful per time, before God. Nonetheless, just like the make up is never long lasting, man needed regularly to add on the make-up to appear a bit presentable before God. Then God made an ultimate sacrifice which serves as a surgical solution to reshape the man completely in appearance so that by the surgery, God now sees again His image and semblance on the regenerated man. It is by this surgical arrangement through the blood of Jesus, which is His life, that God has brought us into fellowship with His Son Jesus Christ, that we may also reign with Him forever, in the beauty of His holiness.
This now is the word of life because the life of Jesus Christ has been manifested unto us through His blood. Now, we have eternal life by the sacrifice of the blood. No wonder the scriptures record that they overcame him (the devil) by the blood of the Lamb. Of course, the devil is the one responsible for the deformity of man, and once we overcame him, and for as long as we remain surgically correct, we remain alive, by the blood. This great rescue is made possible unto us by the faithful God who loves us. So, by the surgery, we have the grace to enter into God’s presence, lacking nothing of the provisions made available unto the saints in the light, and we are preserved in beauty, by reason of the surgery, in Christ Jesus, even unto the very end. But the misery of those who run after other gods and refuse the surgery, shall be much in that they forfeit the opportunity to be restored to the original beauty the Lord made them. Worse is the case of those who are accorded the surgery but return into damaging the image again with iniquity. May the Lord have mercy on them. Please never return to the sinful ways: it destroys.
The Lord will make us His delight to the very end in the name of Jesus Christ. All the benefit that the Lord made available to Adam in the beginning shall start to manifest in our lives by the reason of our being restored to factory setting, through the blood of Jesus Christ, in Jesus’ name. The grace to retain the beauty in Christ Jesus, we receive today, in Jesus’ name. Whatever will damage our appearance that may prevent us from entering into the presence of the Lord, may the Lord push it far away from us in Jesus’ name. And everything that the ugliness of sin has deprived us of, by the faithfulness of God who has deemed it good to restore us because of His love, we recover all today, in Jesus’ name.
SOLUTION: Please live in righteousness that you may remain faithful to the faithful God. Your faithfulness is the reflection of His faithful being. Don’t smear the image again.
