Focus: Psalms 48:14 - KJV
14. For this God is our God for ever and ever: he will be our guide even unto death.
Isaiah 30:19-21
Those who dwell in Zion, have the Lord as their guide forever. Yes, it is not from the day you appear in Zion that you become a perfect citizen. For this reason, we are committed to teachers to bring us up in the tenets and ways of life of the citizens of Zion. This is because there are certain things that cannot be practiced there. Citizenship can be renounced if pollution is discovered. But for as long as we remain obedient to the course of the light, the Spirit of God who dwells in the light is available to guide us in every bit of the way so that we are not misled and thrown back into tribulation. As we obey the voice that leads us in the way, we are reckoned as the sons (not just children any more) of God, as the scriptures say – as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God. For Christ, the only begotten of the Father, taught us that He did nothing while He was on earth except those things done by the Father. So, like Him, for us also to be sons of God, we must hearken to the guidance of the Father and none other. In such guidance is beauty and joy. In it is the best of life and glorious living on it. Though we be sighted as dwellers on earth, we draw our living from the Mountain Zion and we receive our guidance from there. How so comforting.
Beloved, there is nothing more comforting than to receive regular guidance from the King of kings Himself. You don’t yet know what is available to you until you start to receive guidance from God. In such guidance there is safety – never can you fall into the hands of the evil one; prosperity – as your Shepherd, He leads you to the green pastures; comfort – you are not allowed to dash your feet against the stones; strength – you receive strength from the joy flowing to you from the Lord; lifting – since He who is above is above all, and you now dwell in Zion above and guided from there, you operate above they that are below.
SOLUTION: You also can be guided of the Lord forever if you become a citizen of the Mountain Zion. Obtain the citizenship today by taking the steps suggested in the Guide of yesterday.
Father, we cherish your presence every time in our lives, please never allow us to depart from your presence in Jesus’ name. Please continue to be our guide forever from this day on, and better than ever in Jesus’ name. By your guidance, let the beauty of your holiness be manifest in our lives for all eyes to see and come to your salvation also in Jesus’ name.
