The Unchangeable God

Focus: Malachi 3:6 - KJV

6. For I am the LORD, I change not; therefore ye sons of Jacob are not consumed.

Numbers 23:19

Happy New Year, dearly beloved. May this new year be for you a year of supernatural turn around for better, in Jesus’ name. The Lord is declaring to us today that He is the same always and never change. Hence, because He is Love and Light, He does not undulate from being Light into being darkness at some point, never. Neither does He ever stop loving to hate or hurt. Those who experience hurt do so because they have distanced themselves from the one who loves and protects them, to submit to another who detests them and is constantly on the prowl to devour them. When they so submit, they separate their true lover from their affairs and thereby bar Him from taking the charge in their matters. The way out is to return to Love and never depart from Him again. He will never change from loving those who submit unto Him.

Elijah submitted unto God and he prayed fire to consume his offering and it did. When Solomon was in submission unto God, he also prayed God for fire to consume the offering he put up on the altar in the temple he built and fire fell from heaven like it did for Elijah. The power of God that made Elijah to outrun the chariots of Ahab made Philip to catch up with the Ethiopian Eunuch in his chariot. The power that sustained Jesus to walk on water made Simon Peter to do the same. But when Peter shifted focus from Love and turned to the other side through doubt and fear, he began to sink until he cried out to Love again, and he was assisted to remain afloat. God, our God has no wickedness in Him. He has no sin to sin, or any form of darkness at all, in Him. He does no evil. He changes not.

In this new year, God is asking that if we will keep our focus on Him alone, we will not experience evil of any kind. He is the one that loves and chooses us for Himself. For as long as we remain on His side, we will enjoy His love and kindness all through and He will banish the issues of darkness from us, completely. As believers, we are to stick with the unchanging God who has promised us great and mighty things and will not change his mind about them. What He has promised, He will yet do if we do not change camp. Let us therefore resolve to stick with Him, the lover of our souls and see the effect of His unwavering love in our lives this year. Happy New Year, once again.

In this new year, nothing shall be able to stop you from attaining the heights that the Lord has set for you, in Jesus’ name. Whatever the enemy may be planning that may want to shift your focus from the unchanging God is dispersed for your sake today, in Jesus’ name. As you begin the year in joy, when the year shall come to an end, you will be alive, well, strong and in greater joy in Jesus’ name. You will achieve your goals better in this year, in Jesus’ name.
