God’s Promise Shall Manifest

Focus: Hebrews 11:9-10 - KJV

9. By faith he sojourned in the land of promise, as in a strange country, dwelling in tabernacles with Isaac and Jacob, the heirs with him of the same promise: 10. For he looked for a city which hath foundations, whose builder and maker is God.

Revelations 21:2-10

It is the last day in the first month of the new year. How time flies! Really? We are made to believe that it is not time that flies but that we are the ones really passing on gradually. However, we are not so passing on without a hope. We know Him who we believe. His promises are in Him yea and in Him, amen. It shall never fail. But the manifestation will be unto them that believe and hold on with tenacious faith to the end. Remember, the Lord had told Abram to proceed to a land that he knew not. By faith, the man continued despite aging at the time to look for a land that the Lord promised him. When he stepped on the land, there were others dwelling there and therefore, he could not just take possession to the exclusion of the original dwellers. Hence, he dwelled in a manner of humble beginnings, in tents and what have you. But when the fullness of time came, because he did not fail in faith, Abraham had so much to pass on to his son Isaac and in effect, generations after. God’s promise to him never failed.

Like Abraham, the Lord has promised a new heaven and a new earth to those who love Him. Today, it seems a bleak hope because it does not appear to the natural how such can happen. Men are busy calculating with myopic brains what would happen if such must be. The one who created all things already has His formular of implementing these things. Like Abraham, all He calls us to do is to believe and hold Him truthful and faithful, that has promised. Incidentally, it is difficult for those for whom the promise is not to hold on in faith. That was why, even though Abraham took Lot, his nephew, with him in going to locate the place the Lord spoke about, at a point, Lot was moved by lust to relocate to a place where the Lord had not chosen. While the land of promise experienced absolute peace and tranquility because it was the choice of the Lord, the place Lot decided for was destroyed with fire and brimstone because there was too much violence in there. It is simply a matter of choice: the Lord’s promised land or the land full of lusts. In the new land of promise, God will be the light, for there will neither be day nor night. It will be a place of bliss forever. There will be no disease or death or any product of darkness. Are you willing to be there also?

Father, please take us to the place of rest that you have prepared for your saints at the end of the age like you purpose it to be, in Jesus’ name. Please do not let the enemy drag us to the place that will be destroyed by fire and brimstone, dear Lord, in Jesus’ name. we choose you dear Lord and only you shall we cling unto. Therefore, never let us fall off from you Lord, in Jesus’ name.

SOLUTION: Never waiver in faith concerning the promise of God. Like Abraham, believe God to the very end and you shall be among those that will sing the Hallelujah chorus in heaven by the throne of God. It is no longer far from hence.

If you are blessed by this post, kindly share with your contacts, as well as others, that they may be blessed also. Thank you and may God bless you abundantly as you do so, in Jesus’ name.
