God Sees And Hears You

Focus: 1 Peter 3:12 - KJV

12. For the eyes of the Lord are over the righteous, and his ears are open unto their prayers: but the face of the Lord is against them that do evil.

Psalms 34:15-18

God has eyes and ears: the one that created the eyes, shall He not see, and the one who created the ears, shall He not hear? But his sight and hearing are dependent on the person it relates to. When it is the righteous person, the one who does the will of the Lord, He keeps His eyes on him to protect him and His ears open to him to hear and answer his prayers. On the converse side, His eyes are against the evil doer for his ways are abominable to Him. His ears, though not heavy that He cannot hear, are prevented from hearing the evildoer by his sins.

Observe the life of king Saul. He was so favored of God to come from the least family and be made king. Soon enough he entered into disobedience and God no longer heard him and His Spirit departed from him. When he found succor in David who defeated Goliath to give him victory in battle and played music to tame his insanity, rather than deal righteously with him, he sought to kill him. When push came to shove, he sought to speak with God but the Lord could not hear or respond to him by all known godly medium approved in Israel until he sought a word from Samuel through a medium. The Lord’s eyes were no longer on him to protect him as before. He died in battle cheaply.

The Lord is saying to us that if we still want to be watched over and heard in prayers by Him, then we must adhere strictly unto righteousness. Those who turn to wicked ways should not expect any favor or protection from God. But for as long as we remain in the path Christ introduced us to, we are to rest assured that God will neither leave nor forsake us. Let us therefore keep floating in righteousness unto our God, always.

Whatever will cause the Lord to fix His eyes against you will never happen in your life, in Jesus’ name. Whatever has been blocking your cry from reaching the Lord is removed today in Jesus’ name.
