God Sees It All And Ponders On It All

Focus: Proverbs 5:21 - KJV

21. For the ways of man are before the eyes of the LORD, and he pondereth all his goings.

Hebrews 4:11-13

The major problem with mankind is lack of understanding of the extent of the might and prowess of God. We often take Him so little in our eyes. Adam had obeyed his wife to sin against God and suddenly he saw his state of nakedness and was afraid. God is all knowing and all seeing; therefore, He had seen the state Adam had put himself before quickly going to meet him, perhaps, he would be sober and be restored. The manner of Adam was to say it was God’s voice that terrified him as he was naked. God’s next question was how did you know you were naked, did you eat the forbidden fruit. Of course, He knew. He only used cross-examination to help him come to the place of the truth. The cross was by His word. The son, Cain was not different. After having killed his brother, the all-knowing God asked after him, only for the wicked to rhetorically ask if he was his brother’s keeper. God by His word revealed the truth in the face of the deceiver.

Now, the word of God exposes the position of man to him as it comes from a preserved vessel. Often times, it is possible for the Lord who sees all your activities to send the word to you just so that you may by the word, convict (not condemn), yourself. For instance, after David had killed Uriah to take his wife over believing the sin was hidden and buried, God sent His word to him to ponder on just like the Lord had pondered. In the mind of David, what was described was horrible and the responsible person was fit for death. Alas, he was he! God takes the pain to reveal our doings unto us, which ordinarily we assume are covered, just so that we may see ourselves, whether our deeds are condonable. It makes no meaning fighting the vessel through whom the message is released. It is rather better to take a thought on what is preached to examine what God is pondering on, regarding our affairs, and make amends.

Dear friend, the word of God is that when the Lord reprimands us and we remain adamant, we release ourselves unto destruction. May we never be destroyed in Jesus’ name. That which the word is beaming light on is not because the Lord wants our guilt and punishment. It is that we may focus on that aspect of our lives and deal with the ills thereat so that we may appear pure and holy before the one who loves and cares for us. Let us therefore, not be adamant in the affairs that the Lord is calling our attention to, but to meditate on it and return to our love. The word is meant for our healing not our destruction. Pretending as if God cannot see our deeds no matter how covered we think it is, is to deceive ourselves.

SOLUTION: Let the word of God heal your heart of that misgiving. It is meant to be the lamp to your feet and light to your path. Refusing it is to settle for darkness. Those who go in darkness only grope in it. Settle for the light in the word of God which is sent from the one who sees all things and ponders on them.

Please pray: Father, please let your word bring me to repentance wherever I may have erred and not to adamance and pride before you, in Jesus’ name. By your word, make me a better person in you, that I may enjoy the blessings of being in your presence forever, in Jesus’ name.

If you are blessed by this post, kindly share with your contacts, as well as others, that they may be blessed also. Thank you and may God bless you abundantly as you do so, in Jesus’ name.
