Focus: Isaiah 41:13 - KJV
13. For I the LORD thy God will hold thy right hand, saying unto thee, Fear not; I will help thee.
Isaiah 41:8-14
Fear is a torment from the pit of hell. It is aimed at making the elect to miss his benefit from the Lord because God has no pleasure in the fearful. Fear is suggestive of the fact that God has no capacity to fulfil His promises. Who can blame the fearful? When for instance, the Lord has told you He has given to you a land flowing with milk and honey and you discover that the land is already occupied by people who are bigger by far in stature than you, the tendency is to first beat a retreat. But those who do know their God will be strong and do exploits. He has not only promised you the land, He has said He would by Himself bring you to it. This is why we should believe Him for His word. Those who failed to believe were the losers for it. If therefore, we do not want to lose and miss out on the promise of God, we need to believe Him who has promised to hold us by the hand. Bear in mind, no giant is bigger or stronger than our God. There is therefore no tenable basis for fear. Let us be strong and of good courage knowing that the Lord has us covered. He promised Joshua and made him victorious. He cannot fail and that is why we are to rest assured.
God has your back. That situation is nothing before God. Don’t get yourself worked up for nothing. Your anxiety does not affect anything positively. It only weakens you. If you are not anxious, you miss nothing particularly when you commit your ways unto the Lord. The One who has promised to hold you by the hand is able to carry you through. Why quiver over nothing? If you will leave this current matter to the hands of God, you will laugh last. Your anxiety only serves to make you age faster than necessary. Leave it for God.
SOLUTION: God is not moved by the anxieties of man. He will rather we are not anxious but trust Him. So, trust God and believe Him for His assurances. Don’t make Him a liar. He is not.
The Lord will perform His promises towards you today to the chagrin of your adversaries in Jesus’ name. The power to overcome the attacks of the enemy shall be released unto you in Jesus’ name. No matter how great the opposition appears, the Lord will give you the overcoming strides in Jesus’ name.
