Jesus, the only Way

Text: Hebrews 7:25

Wherefore he is able also to save them to the uttermost that come unto God by him, seeing he ever liveth to make intercession for them.

Bible Reading:

Proverbs 16:25; John 14:5-6

Message:

The Bible is the compendium of the acts of God and His people to shed light on the misdeeds of many (from whom we are to learn not to fall into similar traps they fell into) and the correction/salvation brought by Christ with the build up thereon by the actions of the witnesses thereto. In essence, the Bible is not out to teach us to follow the deeds of any man but that of Christ as our eternal example of godliness. No wonder He proclaims I am the way. It is wrong for us to justify our actions by the deeds of any that had gone before us, except Christ, particularly if such deed is not approvable of Christ. Elisha cursed little children and they were killed by two bears. For the rest of Elisha’s life he dared not use God’s providence in that manner again. Peter pronounced Ananias and Sapphira dead but dared not do any such again as he grew in grace. Paul caused one to be blind for a season so as to allow the preaching of the Gospel to thrive. But he knew he had done enough destruction prior to his conversion to want to destroy others while operating God’s grace. But what will Christ do in the circumstance that you find yourself? Let that be your drive in taking any action. Your journey to God is only guaranteed if you approach by Him, Jesus Christ. Not any other. Let not emotions and the flesh push you to the way of death. There is only one way. Stick to that way: any veering out of that way spells only doom. We are to look unto Jesus ONLY for He is the Author and Finisher of our faith. He is the only one the Father recommends by His voice that we follow. Please don’t stray away from His path. He loves you and is beckoning that you return.

Prayer Guide:

Father, help me not to lose sight of the way that you have shown unto me that I may finish well and strong in you in Jesus name.
