Jesus’ Words, God’s Words

Focus: John 12:49 - KJV

49. For I have not spoken of myself; but the Father which sent me, he gave me a commandment, what I should say, and what I should speak.

John 5:19-30

Moses said, and the Lord Jesus Christ confirmed, that we ought not to live by bread alone but by every word that proceeds out of the mouth of the Lord. There is nothing the Lord does without employing His word. We have confirmation that Jesus Christ is the word of God. Nevertheless, while He lived as a Son of man just in the same similitude like we are today, He ensured that He did nothing outside of what the father did and said nothing except the things He heard the father say. In the end, by reason of doing only the words of God and what God commanded, God attested to His sonship and confirmed that in Him, not in any other, was He well pleased.

It is only those who do the will of God to the end that are pleasing unto God. His will is to take charge of the earth, have dominion over it, replenish it and then multiply in it. This is not a navigable sea because of the fall of man. But then, Christ came and did the navigation and laid for us an example of how to so navigate. The navigation is possible when we live by every word that proceeds out of the mouth of God. Ignoring what God says is an invitation to failure and calamity. Christ never failed because He operated in it all through.

Today, God wants us to know that, although the Christ was a special being who existed in God prior to coming to earth, the same had prayed for us that we may be one with Himself and therefores God. Since God is a prayer answering one, that request has long been granted to the effect that everyone who is born again is born of God and has his being in Jesus Christ and by extension the father. Hence, it is possible for the believer, like Christ, to hear constantly and all the time, the words of the father and implement it to the letter, never deviating in any way or form. In essence, the believer can equally be well pleasing unto God, like Christ, if he would take the pain to receive the words of God in whom he dwells, and put it to use, just like Christ did.

SOLUTION: Please endeavor to remain inside of Christ which puts you invariably inside God. As you are therein, take in all information as you can from the one in whom you dwell and pass all that you get therefrom in the form of messages to the outside world that others also may feed on the words that proceed from the mouth of the Lord.

Please pray

·      Give thanks to God for the privilege He has given us to dwell inside of Him

·      Ask God to please make you more fixated on dwelling in Him than being drawn away by the world

·      Ask Him to reveal His words unto you from time to time and help you to rightly divide them so as not to mislead or misguide the world

·      Pray for sufficient grace as we march on in the affairs of the Church vis a vis the turmoil of the world

·      It’s a good time to ask for daily bread

If you are blessed by this post, kindly share with your contacts, as well as others, that they may be blessed also. Thank you and may God bless you abundantly as you do so, in Jesus’ name.
