Look To Eternal Things

Focus: 2 Corinthians 4:18 - KJV

18. While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal.

Hebrews 12:1-2

It is the very last day in the first quarter of the year 2022. Many things have already happened that are inexplicable. There are things that you have had to go through and there are those that you are currently going through. When we put the aggregate of these things together, there is the tendency that the enemy would come with a whisper and ask you why you think it is still necessary to serve the Lord. But those things to which we refer are not lasting. Pain as a whole, is a temporary affair. It shall soon pass. But there are glorious things reserved for those who love God not only after death but even while still alive on earth. The glorious things that would happen to them are as contained in the word of God which is forever settled in heaven. Meaning, no matter what, once it is written it is settled and therefore it shall come to fruition. When Jesus was on earth, He endured all the pain inflicted on Him by the devil through man whom He created. Of course, He knew what was to happen after the pain. He knew what had been written regarding His person and His coming to earth. So, He endured it all because of the joy that lied ahead of Him, knowing that the temporal pain was nothing compared with the joy ahead.

What has the enemy done to you? How so badly has life treated you? Please do not despair. The Lord sees and He knows it all. But all of it are temporal. Truth is, when the Lord decides to turn around this captivity, which He is about to do today, you will be like them that dream. In no time, the memory of the pain will be erased from you. Have you not heard of the people who came to speak about not having shoes to wear in their infancy? When the Lord changed their story and they were giving out shoes, they forgot the pains of the past. Joseph went through the pit, Potiphar and the prison. When he became governor in Egypt, those scars were forgotten. Those who inflicted them were even afraid of retaliation but by the reason of what the Lord had done, Joseph could not even countenance such. Stay focused therefore on the gains which you cannot yet see which is more glorious than the pain you have experienced. It ends today.

SOLUTION: When the light at the end of the tunnel is about to show, the taskmaster has the tendency to have the slave turn back so that he won’t be freed. The voice telling you to throw in the towel is of your enemy. Hold the forth. The glory ahead is shining and quite bright. Don’t forfeit it when it is so near.

The spirit that makes one turn back at the verge of breakthrough shall never conquer you in Jesus name. Every lie the enemy may be whispering to you to want to make you leave the right way shall be exposed and trashed for your sake in Jesus name. That glory that is ahead of you, the Lord will make you attain it in Jesus name. No matter how long the night of your weeping has been, the joy of the Lord comes upon you now and it marks the beginning of your morning in Jesus name. No devil will be able to reverse your shining in the name of Jesus. Congratulations! Welcome to new dawn.
