Look to God

Memorize: Isaiah 45:22

Look unto me, and be ye saved, all the ends of the earth: for I am God, and there is none else.

Read: Psalms 121:1-8

Nebuchadnezzar was at a time the most powerful king on earth. One night he went to bed and woke up the next day a beast eating grass. A man was the self-acclaimed President and would-be life President of an African country. He had plans for himself and many sought his support for their safety. He woke up one day and soon after, he was no more. Of this President and king Nebuchadnezzar, there would be some looking to them for assistance and support in some ways whose hopes became dashed and truncated.

But there is a King who does not die. The one who can by Himself kill and make alive. The King above all others. The one who neither sleep nor slumber, who speaks and it is done. It is better to commit one’s ways into the hands of this King. He can never be caught napping. Some put their trust in chariots and horses, others in the power of the military or some other material. The Philistines were defeated when the head of their champion was taken off his neck by David. Your guarantee is in the Lord Most High. Safety is in Him. Seek Him from today and move away from the vain things that you have been introduced to that also need safety. Locate Jesus Christ today and He will deliver you from the terrors that fly by night preventing you from sleeping, and the pestilence that moves at noon time.

Who is that fellow that is scaring you with words from the pit of hell? Please ignore him and put your focus on Christ Jesus. He will take over your battle and you will be victorious. Oh! You are yet to know Him? Or do you assume your sins are terrible and you cannot be ransomed? Far from it. No matter your issues, Jesus is able to save you. Just genuinely call on His name and tell Him you are ready to renounce your sins and that He should please wash them away with His blood. Commit to being his disciple: ask Him to be the Lord of your life and savior of your soul. It is that simple. And then, please look for a bible believing Church and start relating with them for your growth even as you continue daily in prayers and thanksgiving. Only in God can you find true safety. Seek Him.

Pray:

Father, I run into your name. Please keep me safe in you forever more in Jesus name.
