Focus: Nehemiah 1:11 - KJV
11. O Lord, I beseech thee, let now thine ear be attentive to the prayer of thy servant, and to the prayer of thy servants, who desire to fear thy name: and prosper, I pray thee, thy servant this day, and grant him mercy in the sight of this man. For I was the king's cupbearer.
Nehemiah 1:1-11
Friends, Happy New Month, Happy New Quarter and welcome to the second half of the year. The Lord that has kept and guided us thus far, will never leave or forsake any of us in Jesus’ name. Whatever we will do, that will make us fall short of His glory will never happen, in the name of Jesus Christ. This new month will bring succor in every area we have been experiencing hardship, in Jesus’ name. There appears to be a current wave of hardship blowing round the world; it bites harder in some places than in others. Nonetheless, hardship is prevalent and glaring. When such happens, the only resolve that is meaningful is to resort to the Author of life, who is the Governor among nations. He knows the source of the problems and can tackle the same from its roots. This month, the Lord will uproot every planting of the enemy causing hardship in the lives of the people, in Jesus’ name.
A time was when Israel was taken into captivity and what was left of their land had been devastatingly destroyed. Everyone had been scattered and the remnant did not know how to make progress with the devastation that glared them in the face. They were faced with affliction and reproach. However, some in captivity realized the situation and agonized in prayers unto the only one who can save. They were those who claim to love God and understand that God is not wicked to forsake them that love Him. They sought God for favor in the face of their human abductors and God granted their prayers and made their wishes come to. They however, first humbled themselves to say to God that though they were no longer in the land, yet they were part of the sin that caused the ravaging of the land. Their intercession was a cry to God to please answer their prayers.
Beloved, it does not matter where you are, whether at home or in the diaspora: the Lord is waiting for everyone to humble himself and repent, that He may hear our cries and send succor to our people in the lands of our respective nativity. The pain of our brethren is our pain. Some of the things they go through were brought about by our collective sin. Let us therefore cry to God for mercy and ask that He should please come in our land to restore us in His lovingkindness, so that everyone of us may be restored to joy, over our land and people. It is time to pray; it is time to ask the Lord for mercy.
SOLUTION: There is no situation that is insurmountable with God. All He requires from us is to look up to Him. Let us therefore, approach Him in humility that He may blow away the issues confronting our lands. He is able.
Please pray: Father, as we cry unto you today, please forgive all our sins and show mercy unto us over our land and people in Jesus’ name. Please let your wind of joy blow again in our land in Jesus’ name. Lord, please hear our prayers, in Jesus’ mighty name.
If you are blessed by this post, kindly share with your contacts, as well as others, that they may be blessed also. Thank you and may God bless you abundantly as you do so, in Jesus’ name.
Thank you Lord for I Humbly bow to you with all my heart and ask for your mercy to Run over me...
