Focus: Lamentations 3:25 - KJV
25. The LORD is good unto them that wait for him, to the soul that seeketh him.
Isaiah 40:28-31
Many are times, when the world comes with its troubles, man gets devastated and confused, not knowing how to navigate his way out of the troubled waters. They, because of their troubles, forget to take a thought about God. They rather focus on the size of the trouble. Yet, there is nothing too difficult for God to do. If only the man would turn his focus unto his God to seek and wait for Him, then would the Most High offer easy solution to the nagging “problems” and make them appear as nothing. For they that seek the Lord shall find Him and they who wait upon Him shall be strong and do exploits, no matter the circumstances they are confronted with.
Saul Kish went out one day with one of his father’s servants seeking a lost animal. All their efforts yielded no positive result and when they became wearied of the search, they put thoughts together to seek the Lord through His prophet, Samuel. Seeking the Lord made them to know that the animal they sought had been found and that their going about was worthless, if they continued. The prophet told them to wait and they waited on the Lord. The result was that Saul became anointed king in Israel, something that had never happened before. He also became so strong spiritually that he began to prophesy.
The Lord is saying we should spend more time in seeking Him rather than going about on some frolic looking for what is not missing. And when we do find Him, we must not be in a haste to depart from His presence: we must learn to wait on Him. Let us not because things are not happening the way we assume, speed out of God’s presence in a bid to take hold of things or the situation by ourselves. Let us endeavor to wait on God, no matter the situation. He is faithful to do as He promised, and will not fail.
Please pray:
Father, I thank you for the testimonies of your faithfulness all the times I have had to wait on you. Please help me to be patient and humble in all that I do so that I may never rush out of your presence, in Jesus’ name. Let today mark a supernatural turnaround in my affairs like you did for Saul; let me move from frivolities to performance and let me receive an unprecedented miracle by my waiting on you, in Jesus’ name. On this blessed day, let my spirituality increase positively, in Jesus’ name.
Please share with others. God bless you.
