No Evil With God

Focus: Psalms 5:4-6 - KJV

4. For thou art not a God that hath pleasure in wickedness: neither shall evil dwell with thee. 5. The foolish shall not stand in thy sight: thou hatest all workers of iniquity. 6. Thou shalt destroy them that speak leasing: the LORD will abhor the bloody and deceitful man.

Genesis 4:8-15

Our God is one who loves righteousness and detests wickedness. Indeed, there is no wickedness in Him; no wonder He is called the merciful God. The one who has no pleasure in wickedness is in no wise wicked. The one who says thou shall not kill is in no wise a killer. It is therefore, funny when we ascribe to God a personality that does not depict Him. God is a giver of life. It is true that He has the capacity to kill and make alive. Nonetheless, he abstains from the ministry of killing which is the ministry where the enemy thrives. To make man confused about the person of God however, the enemy from generation to generation promotes the narrative that God kills. Yet, God is forever true and will never deny Himself. No wonder He has sent out disciples to correct the narrative.

Cain operated in wickedness. He was a bloody and deceitful man. He deceived his own brother and spilled his blood. When God met him, He told him the consequences of his action and Cain quickly made allocutions to the Lord asking that He makes the sentencing light. Even though, Cain was guilty and the Lord abhorred him, He still made the sentence lighter for Him, showing that the Lord has no wickedness in Him. Also, the most wicked being that exists is the devil. He is the arch enemy of God and man. Yet, God met him in the company of men who gathered unto God at the time of Job and still conversed with him rather than cause him hurt.

The Lord is saying to us again that people are destroyed for lack of knowledge. Even though we wish to be like the Lord, we have no true knowledge of Him. Hence, we are not able to be like Him in truth since we see Him often as who He is not and we go ahead to emulate another. That other is the one who enjoys to steal, kill, and destroy. Wherever such is found, it is never God in operation but the enemy. He however feigns it to be like the act of God and sways many to so believe and for them to fail in the recognition of God. The Lord is asking us to seek proper knowledge of Himself today, by accepting that He is ever loving and never a destroyer.

In the name that is above every other name, every veil covering your eyes from having the recognition of the only true God is cut asunder today. May the Lord reveal to you His true being more than ever that you may stop operating in the lie of the devil, in Jesus’ name. May the power in the name of Jesus cause every knee of deceit to bow for your sake from today in Jesus’ name. May you begin to operate from now in the true likeness and image of God, in Jesus’ name.
