Focus: Isaiah 54:14 - KJV
14. In righteousness shalt thou be established: thou shalt be far from oppression; for thou shalt not fear: and from terror; for it shall not come near thee.
Isaiah 54:11-17
The Almighty God has a plan for everyone that is ransomed of Christ who are the called according to His purpose. It is for them that the New Jerusalem is being prepared. In the New Jerusalem, every inheritor shall be established there in righteousness. This is why it is important to imbibe righteousness at this time while we are still in training, for unless we understand righteousness, we shall not be fit for the New Jerusalem. Aside this, oppression, like it is being meted out in the current earth shall be far from the dwellers of the New Jerusalem. There will be no basis for fear as we shall dwell perpetually from then and there, under the eternal covering of the wings of the Lord Most High. Terror is the basis of fear: the cause of terror is the enemy that goes about like a roaring lion looking for whom to devour. Since he would have been banished to the bottomless pit, there will be no one to terrify us there. Hence, terror shall not come anywhere near. These are the promises of God and it shall surely come to pass.
We can however begin to enjoy this grace and blessings even now before the emergence of the New Jerusalem. That is made possible if we imbibe righteous living through and through. Then will the Lord stand in place to put us under His covering. While that happens, His shadow alone scares away the ancient serpent and therefore he is not able to terrify us. When terror is missing, then there will be no basis for fear. Righteous living is wrapped up in love – loving God and loving our neighbors. When we love God, we will obey His commands and live by them; and when we love our neighbors, we will never have the thought of hurting them or anyone of them. With this achieved, there is no terrifying us. So, stop being terrified by the enemy. He is toothless and can never hurt you if you come under the cover of the Most High.
SOLUTION: Hide under the shadow of the Lord through righteousness. Abstain from sin as it exposes to darkness and terror. Stay put with God; don’t even look out of Him.
The Lord who is the most effective cover will shield you from fear in the name of Jesus. Everything putting fear in your heart are demolished today for your sake in Jesus’ name. From this day, you will enjoy the beauty of righteousness in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. Stand tall. God is on your side.
