Focus: 1 Corinthians 8:6 - KJV
6. But to us there is but one God, the Father, of whom are all things, and we in him; and one Lord Jesus Christ, by whom are all things, and we by him.
1 Timothy 2:1-6
There are many questions agitating the minds of men. These questions emanate as a result of the actions of the enemy whose only aim is to deceive man into believing many lies about the being of God so that man may distrust the one God that loves him and work against His interest, forever. Incidentally, God is true and it is impossible for Him to lie, or deny Himself. In a bid to perpetuate his deception, the enemy has also caused some to write documents which they attribute to God most of which do not depict the person of God. To further his actions, he has also raised teachers and preachers of such “scriptures” who have inculcated in the minds of men, lies about God. Incidentally, there is no man made by God that at some point does not have the notion of God. But many lose such notion over time to the confusion brought to their minds as a result of the activities and actions of the enemy. Hence, there are now many “scriptural” books and religions describing different beings as God. There can however, be only one God as there can never be two that are supreme at the same time. The only God is the creator of the heavens and the earth. He sustains the earth and everything therein.
Nonetheless, because of the lies and deception of the enemy, man is confused about the being of God and therefore, has become so estranged from God that they submitted their dominion over the earth and its contents to the enemy. To correct this, God released a man born by His Spirit and therefore, with full knowledge of His being to come into the world to reveal the truth about His being to man so that mankind would do away with the lies and deception that have been the order of the world. He ensured He did the revelation of the person of God in the presence of witnesses that we all may continue to learn of God through that which He released to us, the truth. For as many as get this understanding focus on Him and His directives, but use His parameters to gauge the actions of any other being or reference to God in any scripture, whatsoever. No wonder the Bible says we should test all spirits and hold on to that which is true. What the Lord is saying to us today is not to be confused: there is only one God who is good and whose mercies endure forever. The same is revealed by Christ to us. Whatever is not Christly in any writing is not of God. Use it only as a measure of what the true God would approve in the end, based on the doctrines of Christ. In any event, God is God and not means or ways, like many would like to pin Him to.
Father, we wish to know more of you. The Lord Jesus Christ promised that the Holy Spirit will teach us all things and bring to our remembrance that which Christ taught us about you. Please, from this day, let the Holy Spirit teach us the more about you, the only true and living God, and divest us of every lie of the devil that is making us honor wrong beings as God as against you, our Father who is true, in Jesus’ name. Let the power in knowing begin to turn things around for us on earth that the devil may be put perpetually in his place under our feet, in Jesus’ name. As we grow in the knowledge of your being, help our repositioning to the original place of dominion that all your creatures may resubmit unto you through us, in Jesus’ name. Let this day mark the beginning of the glaring manifestation of your Kingdom on earth through us, in Jesus’ name.
SOLUTION: Seek knowledge of the true God. You cannot truly know Him through the thoughts or doctrines of men but through the one He had chosen for the purpose, Jesus Christ. Take time to learn about, and of, Jesus. Through Him, you will know God truly.
