Text: Revelation 19:6
And I heard as it were the voice of a great multitude, and as the voice of many waters, and as the voice of mighty thunderings, saying, Alleluia: for the Lord God omnipotent reigneth.
Bible Reading:
Daniel 4:1-17
Message:
The Lord God is Omnipotent: He is ALL-POWERFUL! It is important for everyone to realize this for even the scriptures say God has spoken once and twice have I heard that power belongs to God. Though God is Love, He is at the same time a Consuming Fire. He is the one who rules and reigns in the affairs of men. He lifts up the one and debases the other. No one can get anything unless it is first given to him by God. This is why it is only a fool that says in his heart that there is no God. It is God who made Nebuchadnezzar king over the nations. When he appeared not to give glory to the One that reigns, he was turned to a beast for years living in the forest. When he realized his being and gave honor to God, he was restored. Herod attributed the glory of the Creator to himself and the Omnipotent One decided to show him who the Creator is by recreating him into worms such that the man of oratory that drew accolades became in an instant an irritant. Are you in anyway behaving so proudly because of your achievements, status or what have you? Be careful! It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God. That your outburst and anger is borne out of pride in you; yet God resists the proud. Humble yourself in all your relationships that God may give grace to you. When He gives you grace, you become preferred above your peers. Make up your mind to be humble before God from now.
Prayer Guide:
Lord, I confess you are my God. I am nothing without you. Help me to reverence you in all my doings and throughout my life from now on and forever more in Jesus name.
