Please Fight On

Focus: 1 Timothy 6:12 - KJV
12. Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, whereunto thou art also called, and hast professed a good profession before many witnesses.
Philippians 3:12-14
There is a peculiar thing in combat: a combatant keeps on the enemy slaughter by pressing forward to slay some more and not stopping to count the casualties until the bugle for victory sounds. The projected victory for the soldier of Christ is in gaining eternal life. Of course, as he fights on in life, he is imbued with provisions and supplies to keep him strengthened in the battle. Hence, as soldiers of Christ, we must understand that the world is never comfortable with us. Whatever we say of the gospel affects them that are of the world and they constantly assume it is projected against them. We are never to relent until they come to the knowledge of the truth or the bugle sounds for the rapture.
The fight of faith is located in discouragement and other dats of the enemy thrown against our hearts and souls, to want to get us to desist from preaching the gospel. Like they did to those that had fought the battle before us, they will call us names, seek for things to use against us to make us appear hypocritical and when they find none, they will fabricate stuff and sell lies to their audience. We however, must not allow this to deter us, even as we march boldly to war as Christian soldiers, gaining ground by getting many more converted unto Christ and the truth. It is never over until we win eternal life with many in our company. Despite all the opposition and persecution that Paul encountered, even though he had won many, he kept pressing on towards the mark of the prize of the high calling in Christ Jesus, regardless.
Please do not allow the enemy to cause you to be weary in well doing. They may call you names, including bandit, thug, thief, blasphemer, insubordinate, wicked, proud and anything, just to want to make you feel inadequate in the calling you profess. Just keep pressing on. As much as you continue to slay the devil in them so that many are converted in heart unto Christ, victory is certain in the end. Do not allow their misguided hearts to affect your good heart. The battle is aimed at causing you to derail so that you may lose your protection and defense. No! Do not allow them to strike you. Let them keep beating the air as you keep your focus and aim for the victory. The bugle is about to sound: it is not so long from hence. Keep up the fight. Keep your faith strong.
SOLUTION: The author of our faith is the one to look to. Never allow discouragers to derail you in the onslaught towards eternal life. Keep standing in the battle. Let nothing cause your heart to sink or your faith to wane. Your Commander in Chief is with you in it.
Please pray: Father, the battle is truly rife, but I am confident you are with me in it. Please arise to keep me strong through it in Jesus’ name. Let me never lack instruction and strategy in this battle, dear Lord, in Jesus’ name. Let the enemy be blown away like chaff in the front of the wind in Jesus’ name. Give me victory to the end that I may gain eternal life, in Jesus’ mighty name.
If you are blessed by this post, kindly share with your contacts, as well as others, that they may be blessed also. Thank you and may God bless you abundantly as you do so, in Jesus’ name.
