Focus: Isaiah 40:3-5 - KJV
3. The voice of him that crieth in the wilderness, Prepare ye the way of the LORD, make straight in the desert a highway for our God. 4. Every valley shall be exalted, and every mountain and hill shall be made low: and the crooked shall be made straight, and the rough places plain: 5. And the glory of the LORD shall be revealed, and all flesh shall see it together: for the mouth of the LORD hath spoken it.
Revelations 1:7-8
The gospels state that the passage in focus being a prophesy from Isaiah, was fulfilled in the coming of John the Baptist, the acclaimed forerunner of the Lord Jesus Christ. The Lord came at the time, died for the ransom of man from the consequences of sin, rose from the dead and ascended into heaven. However, it will appear that since Christ’s coming to earth is not only once, there is yet need to prepare the way for His return. As against the first coming, He comes this second time towards wresting the earth from the grip of the enemy, such that every “landscape” shall be made plane. This, literally means that there will be no longer topographic hinderances; nonetheless, in real sense it is that those things that constitute upheaval for man to clearly see and receive God as He is, shall be fully removed.
At the time of John the Baptist, he was to make the people realize that salvation was at hand. Now, we are to broadcast the Lord as His forerunners regarding His second coming that the ultimate salvation is imminent, where the saints, both dead and living shall be taken into the kingdom reserved for them in which place there are many mansions. John was so vociferous about salvation and the need to depart from iniquity. We are also expected to be much more deliberate in our broadcasting the return of the Lord so that many more will be taken out of darkness and brought into the light of the Lord.
Friends, the time for the second coming is quite imminent. The great tribulation is beckoning already as the events foretold by the scriptures are finding performance already. For instance, river Euphrates is fully dried up and the four “angels” kept in the dungeon thereat appear to have been released and their mission is to bring down a third of the human population on earth. This appears also to have commenced in all the tragedies, mishaps and deliberate killings by people for no appreciable reasons. To contain this wickedness, there must manifest now, the sons of God. These are those that are led by the Spirit of God who, like Christ, have the ability to protrude the sword of fire from their mouths. They cannot truly manifest until they are formed. Their formation is based on the word, which now we have refused to imbibe and preach, undiluted. It is never too late to start. Let us prepare the way of the Lord.
SOLUTION: The Lord is to come with the clouds of heaven being the glorious saints who are joint heirs with Him. That company with the innumerable company of angels will soon appear. Be part of the team by starting now to prepare the way of the Lord.
Please pray: Father, please make me ready that I may not be a casualty to the wicked demons that have been released to the four winds of the earth in Jesus’ name. Everything necessary to grant me the appreciable spiritual fire power to withstand the enemy in battle, please release unto me now, in Jesus’ name.
