Text: Jeremiah 24:7
And I will give them an heart to know me, that I am the Lord: and they shall be my people, and I will be their God: for they shall return unto me with their whole heart.
Jeremiah 24: 4-7
The mind of God is not that any should perish but come to repentance and restoration. He does no evil neither does He tempt anyone with evil. Whenever a man goes against the prescription of God for life, the same allows himself to be deprived of his inheritance in the land the Lord has assigned to him. This is why many are found lingering in hardship which is not the purpose or thought of God concerning them. Nevertheless, God keeps looking out for the same to restore him fully back unto Himself. He seeks to assist the same with even a better heart that will generate godly thoughts going forward to forestall returning to his vomit and thereby losing the good land again. What has been your experience in life? Have you been going through some form of hardship traceable to your departing from the Lord? If you will repent and refocus, God is set to restore you fully and even build you up. He loves you and appreciates a constant fellowship with you. All He asks of you is your love and attention. Your love for Him through your loving your neighbor as yourself is key to your rewarding fellowship with Him. The world is full of regrets but most people do not realize that it is in retracing their steps that their salvation and restoration lie. Stop making God appear like a liar. You do so when you make people believe you are a Christian whereas you lack the fruit of the Spirit. In such circumstance, your life cannot show the benefits of the kingdom and those that have heard the gospel preached will assume it is not true after all. For every such misrepresentation there are great consequences. Return to the Lord and be restored.
Father, please forgive me of my past misdeeds. Kindly restore unto me the joy of your salvation of my soul that I may enjoy your bliss here on earth and even hereafter in Jesus name.
