Seek God

Memorize: 2 Chronicles 26:5

And he sought God in the days of Zechariah, who had understanding in the visions of God: and as long as he sought the LORD, God made him to prosper.

The world is made of two pillars: the pillar of God which is light; and the pillar of darkness. Both pillars occupy two extremes. The pillar of light is characterized by righteousness, peace and joy in the Holy Ghost. Everyone that is located there are under the watchful eyes of the Lord God, who is their King. When they pray, the Lord hears and answers. That pillar accommodates only those that are broken hearted and possessors of contrite spirit.

Indeed, the first man created of God was created into the bliss of this pillar. No one was created to occupy the space of the other pillar as it was reserved for the rebellious one and his co-conspirators otherwise called the fallen angels. That pillar is known for crass darkness which brings forth pain and agony continually. This pillar has a terrible magnet that draws men to itself. The magnet is made of the lust of the eyes, the lust of the flesh and the pride of life. Even when you are in the pillar of light and shielded of God, if any of these ingredients is found in any, the same is drawn by it from the light into darkness. There is a grey area between the two pillars. It is called the valley of indecision. Those found there have neither decided for the light nor darkness. Unfortunately, unless you are fully decided for the light, you are not welcome near the pillar of light. So, they are constantly drawn by the magnetic pull and force of darkness into perdition.

For anyone to be by the pillar of light and remain there constantly, the same must seek God. To seek God is to eschew evil in all its ramifications. Don’t think of it; don’t speak it; don’t do it. Keep your heart pure and clean and then the magnet of darkness repels you and by itself pushes you to where you belong in the light where no hurt can reach you, under the canopy of the Most High. Please check your life: are you experiencing serious trouble from the devil? It is possible you have been drawn by the magnet of darkness. Purge your heart urgently in repentance and call on God for mercy and help. As you do so today, darkness will release you and you will be received of God into His marvelous light.

Pray:

Father, please help me never to be attracted into darkness ever in Jesus name. Purge me now of every issue of darkness left in my heart in Jesus name.
