Focus: Philippians 1:27 - KJV
27. Only let your conversation be as it becometh the gospel of Christ: that whether I come and see you, or else be absent, I may hear of your affairs, that ye stand fast in one spirit, with one mind striving together for the faith of the gospel;
Philippians 1:27-30
The world is lopsided in that everyone that professes Christ who is the solution to human ills, is seen as a trouble maker and looked down upon. Indeed, many are harassed and maltreated at the slightest opportunity. But the victory of the Church lies in the unity of the brethren. They are meant to unite in their faith speaking the truth of the Gospel at every point and opportunity. Unfortunately, the enemy has penetrated the ranks of believers to the extent that, rather than unite against the common enemy, believers are torn against one another. Meanwhile, it is in their unity that their success lies. The one is against the Scriptural exposition of the other and to the extent of disparaging the same for the whole world to hear. This makes the heathen, who ordinarily does not understand the Gospel assume “what really is this Gospel?”. The answer is to return to the leader of the faith and run our course in accordance with His prescription.
Beloved, don’t be antagonistic of any other believer particularly as they spread the Good News of the Kingdom of God. Like Christ said, if they are preaching or doing things in the name of Jesus, then they can’t be said to be against us. So, unite with them in the truth of the Gospel to preach deliverance to the captives.
SOLUTION: Stick together as believers defending your faith. There is great strength in unity
The Lord will help to remove the voice of the enemy from the midst and minds of believers in Jesus’ name. The Church will be stronger from now and no gate of hell shall prevail in Jesus’ name.
