20. But ye, beloved, building up yourselves on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Ghost, 21. Keep yourselves in the love of God, looking for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ unto eternal life.
Romans 8:26-27
On this very last day of the first quarter in the year 2023, the Lord will specially bless and lift you to heights you never thought of in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. For you to achieve this however, God expects you to stay in His love. God’s love for us is expressed principally in the gift of His only begotten son. If that love will not be in vain, we are to keep the tenets handed down to us by His gift of love. This is how to remain in His love. However, as beautiful as this may be, there are too many distractions on earth that erode the faith of many. And, without faith, no one can please the Lord. To keep in faith therefore, the Lord has given a special grace to every believer that makes him able to pray in the Holy Ghost. Doing so helps build up our faith in God, through our Lord Jesus Christ.
It follows that those who pray in the Holy Ghost spit mystery as they pray with the Trinity to the Trinity. The prayer is such that the Holy Ghost takes over the tongue and prays the right words needed in the circumstance of the concerned person, unto the father, through the Lord Jesus Christ, the one for whom the Holy Ghost was given unto believers as Comforter. In essence, rather than using our heads to make demands of God, some of which may not meet with the will of God, the Holy Ghost, who Himself is God, prays with our mouth, those things that are essential and necessary for our well-being, and directs it unto Himself as the Father, using the prowess in the blood He shed as the Son of man, which blood gives access unto Him as the Father. When prayers are made in this manner, they don’t miss their target and they bring forth great results.
If you are yet to understand the mystery of praying in tongues, you don’t know what you are missing. Please ask God to give you the tongues of the Holy Spirit so that as you pray, you may build up your faith in Jesus Christ. Please be guided that by the prescriptions of scripture, it is your ability to remain in prayer in the Holy Ghost that sustains your faith and thereby keeps you in the love of God which puts you in the mercy of God unto eternal life through our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. When you pray often in tongues, you are not likely to miss it, particularly if you allow the Spirit to guide your living.
SOLUTION: Sharpen your spirit by praying in the Spirit more regularly. Doing so puts the enemy to flight and you are able to live in the love of God. Never yield to the flesh. Put it under and promote the Spirit evermore.
Pray thus: Lord, as we come to the end of this quarter today, do not let me end it without your special deposit into me. Give me the grace to speak more in tongues than ever before in Jesus’ name. As I speak, please do not allow the flesh or the enemy to infiltrate my speaking in Jesus’ name. Let the fire that proceeds from speaking in tongues bring me victory in all sphere of life today, in Jesus’ name.
