Stop The Reprobate Work

Focus: Titus 1:16 - KJV

16. They profess that they know God; but in works they deny him, being abominable, and disobedient, and unto every good work reprobate.

2 Timothy 3:1-9

Judging by all measures of goodness, our God is good, all the time and there is no iota or jot of evil traceable to Him. It is therefore, absolutely fallacious to claim to be of God and be found working evil when even by God’s injunction, no evil ought to be found in one. Often times the evildoer hides behind the façade of godliness by utilizing titles, association and calling to deceive the human observers of their true mien. Some of them are schooled in the arts of power and how to conquer ‘the enemy’ and such nefarious human books and psychologies, while pretending to be disciples of Christ. Theirs is not new. In the days of Christ, there were disciples who would rather prevent the needy, sick, downtrodden, perceived sinner and so on from getting to Christ. They will rather release thunder and mayhem against such than draw them to salvation.

The Pharisees were not described as hypocrites by Christ for nothing. Even though they asserted knowledge of the law and tenets of God as prescribed by Moses and they were seen as such, they twisted it all to suit their purposes and found occasion in the same law to mesmerize others. When they erred, it was never called. But they always twisted things around because of their knowledge, to nab others while they walked free. This is more true of the hypocrites of today than those of Christ’s day.

The Lord enjoins us to let our works in the body of Christ be the good one only. Good in the sense that it draws people to the bosom of their Lord: sinners to repentance from sinful ways unto righteousness, and the straying brother unto renewing of mind to return to his first love. Not looking for means to hack down the innocent members of the body just because they refuse to be part of the wayward, sinful, pretending ‘members’ of the body and indeed, the rulers thereof. Such works are considered reprobate as they are in denial of God who is good always. And like the pretenders of the days of Moses, if they fail to have a change of ways, they will be exposed and disgraced without remedy.

SOLUTION: The goodness of God accounts for His longsuffering and His unwillingness to cause a terrible interloper pretending to be of God to perish suddenly. That however does not mean He is slack. When He shows forth, it can be devastating. It is better to repent now before it becomes extremely too late.

Please pray:

·      Give thanks to God for giving you an identity in Himself

·      Ask God to please cleanse you from all reprobate works and make you genuine and true a worker in His name

·      Pray that every worker of unrighteousness drawing the name of the Lord to the mud be exposed and disgraced suddenly if they fail to repent today

·      Ask God to cleanse His Church and wrest the same from the grip of hypocrites that the light of the gospel may shine the more

·      Collect your daily bread today by demanding it from the father: it is your entitlement

If you are blessed by this post, kindly share with your contacts, as well as others, that they may be blessed also. Thank you and may God bless you abundantly as you do so, in Jesus’ name.
