Tenacious Sagacity in God

Focus: Daniel 3:16-18 - KJV

16. Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, answered and said to the king, O Nebuchadnezzar, we are not careful to answer thee in this matter. 17. If it be so, our God whom we serve is able to deliver us from the burning fiery furnace, and he will deliver us out of thine hand, O king. 18. But if not, be it known unto thee, O king, that we will not serve thy gods, nor worship the golden image which thou hast set up.

Acts 5:17-29

There is a boldness that comes from above for everyone that is sold out regarding the kingdom. When the enemy raises opposition against a worker of righteousness, the same is not bothered by the threat of harm coming from the kingdom of darkness against his activities in the light. The tendency is for the righteous to become afraid and therefore be cowed and suppressed. Meanwhile, fear is the direct enemy of faith. And without faith it is not possible to please the Lord. His promise is to raise a standard by His Spirit whenever the enemy comes rushing like a flood. The three Hebrew boys were confronted by the king, the paramount ruler of their time. They told him point blank, “forget your threat, we are not yielding.” Daniel was confronted, he told his king the same thing. When the Apostles were put in prison by the same council that killed their master, the angel of the Lord released them and told them to continue the business of the Kingdom in the open. They also told the council to forget their threat; it is God that should be obeyed. It is the Spirit of God that gives such sagacity. Many are that will cringe and buckle in the face of lesser threats. But the Spirit emboldens.

Friends, there is no threat higher than that of physical death. Death is the transport to eternity. If you are not on the righteous side, please buckle in the face of the threat of death because it can only lead to weeping wailing and gnashing of teeth on the other side. But if you are sure of your salvation, why not let God be true and all men liars? Put on the Spirit of God and show forth the sagacity that comes by Him in that your affair. In the end, the devil will bow to you like he succumbed to Daniel, the three Hebrew boys, Peter and the others as well as Stephen. Let God carry you through.

SOLUTION: Be bold and of good courage. After having done all righteous requirement, stand still and see the salvation of your God. The Lord is faithful.

In the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, all those roaring against you and your destiny shall return from this day to bow to the God you serve. Indeed, they are made powerless from hence by the reason of the word of God in the name of Jesus Christ. From this day henceforth, whenever they see you, they will treat you with respect and honor in Jesus’ name.
